Lakewinds Golf Course

The course was in the best condition I’ve seen it. They are installing new cart paths, The fairway were well maintained, greens were filled in and running true, sand traps were well maintained and staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. I look forward to playing it again soon.

The course was in really good shape smooth greens with a pretty good pace. Carts clean and well kept. Super personnel running the course. I’ll be back and tried to play very regularly..

For the rate this is an ok course. It was worth the Hot Deals rate for a Saturday morning but it was a pretty blah experiment. First, we showed up 20 min before our tee time and were told we would have to wait for carts since they were out. I also asked who we should go out after and was told but others jumped in front before we could get our carts. They only had 2 people working and had a lot to juggle. Nothing bad to say about the staff just that they really need a starter on busy mornings like that.

On the course the pace wasn’t too bad though. The fairways have very little grass and the greens are TINY. It was quite a short course at 5100 yards from the “tips”.

Very reasonably priced on Sunday compared to surrounding courses. Lot of players on the course but we'll spaced. Greens are slow but are in really nice shape. The only negatives I have are there is no driving range. Just a putting green. So no normal warmup. Also the golf carts are old gas carts. Emphasis on old. Other than that very enjoyable course.

Scored a great deal with Golf Now $18+tax. So, was interested in what we would find. The greens are in very good shape, but small. The fairways are mostly playable but could use some improving. Tee boxes need a lot of work. The beer was cold and priced right. A fun track to play for little money.

Very challenging little course. The yardage from the whites is just over 5400 yards. While that might seem short, the course protects itself with the smallest greens you’ve probably ever seen. Additionally, many of the greens are styled in the upside down bowl variety so the ball rolls back to you if you miss your spot. And as the name suggests, wind is always a factor. Hit your spots and you’ll love the course. And a strong wedge game will definitely come in handy. Really loved the course and the challenge it presented. Will definitely play again.

Most approaches to greens are uphill. Greens are fairly small and turtle backed. Tight less everywhere. I've played this Course before but not in spring or summer. I've no idea if it gets better. But as a warm-up course or get in a round - like the title - it uses a typical municipal course.

Course is in good condition for the price and always enjoyable to play especially being the only public course in the area.
