Great Layout
This course has a nice layout and challenging hole locations. Greens are small so you have to be accurate with your shots.
Easy to play
Course was in great shape. Excellent value for the price.
Hidden gem!
Fun Course
This is a fun course! For a public course it is in good shape.
The layout is a little tight (tee boxes close to greens) but most of the fairways are pretty wide.
The smaller green sizes make it a challenge but the greens are in good shape and roll nicely.
I only learned of this course recently and have now played it three times in two weeks.
I will keep coming back!
Great course
Great municipal course in great shape, friendly staff very good price

In great condition for the summer we have had. Really small greens. No driving range onsite. But overall a good experience for the hot deal price. Will definitely visit here again.
Harder than the distance would indicate
First time playing the course. The weather was chilly ,but sunny.
Found out that the greens are small and crowned. With it being winter and the grass being dead ,it was hard to keep the ball on the green. Can't wait until summer to come and try this course again.
Very hilly at the Lakewinds Golf Course
The Lakewinds Golf Course is right next to Hwy 280. So you can hear the noise of the traffic, what can disturb your game on many holes. It is a nice layout around a lake, but very hilly with extremly small and fast greens. Accurate shots are a must or your ball runs all the way back down where it came from.
It is worth the drive if you are not from Alexander City like me.
unexpected good
club house looks small and facility inside was not fancy but staff in there serve every customer in good
courses are challenging with some undulation and small green needs soft landing short irons
only green speed is little lazy.
The course has great features and is very fun to play
Lakewinds golf course is a place to play and has friendly staff members.
