Punched greens about two weeks ago
Unfortunately we didn't know the greens had been punched. They were two weeks out but very bumpy and inconsistent. we were told cart paths only . One green wasn't cut because of the wet conditions. would love to play on a day when the greens were in good condition. the layout was cool but we didn't get a map on the score card and no cart girl Mon-Thurs.
This is my go to course!
I drive from Foley, Alabama (roughly an hour with traffic) I Absolutely love coming here. The staff is very friendly (from the maintenance crew to the person in the pro shop) greens are really sweet and roll smooth, this time of year most courses are having problems but these are really nice. If you’re visiting or live near by it’s worth checking out.
The best customer service
I showed up a little early and the lady at the pro shop let me tee off early. The bag boy was also very helpful directing me where to go because it's my first time playing here. Some of the greens have bald spots and also the fairways have some bald spots maybe because it's on the month of February. The bathrooms needs cleaning and the water faucet in the bathroom outdoors had tiny water coming out from it, which is the size of a toothpick coming out from the faucets men, and women bathrooms.
Overall I enjoyed playing here...
Nice coarse
New to GolfNow. Good value for money. Nice friendly people. Coarse will challenge you with every club. Some greens need work but this is Winter. Fast play. Played in 3-4 hours easy.
good layout
Old style parkland course, looked like it used to be big time country club. Strange to see all the expensive houses and the course not private anymore. Course seems to have gone down hill since not private. Fairways, rough and tee boxes all in average shape. Greens did not come in, many dead spots. Still enjoyed the course, would play again.
Fast play on an established coarse
Just opened to GolfNow. Nice layout that will play all your clubs, greens are coming back due to severe drought in the late summer, friendly staff who appear to genuinely care about their course. Can easily play in 3-4 hours as coarse is not crowded
