Fun 9-hole Course
This is a fun 9-hole course that can be very frustrating for beginners. It is decently priced at 24$ per person which includes cart for 9 holes. This course is not friendly if you have an issue slicing the ball. It is extremely easy to lose golf balls here if you don't stay near the fairway. #5 is the most scenic par 4 around as you tee off at the top of a large hill with a cliff in front of you driving over many trees. #8 is a fun par 3 that is straight forward but very short. #2 is a par 5 with a significant dogleg left that is interesting. #9 has a giant tree near the green where the branches obstruct much of the right side of the green, so that is interesting. #6&7 have a giant ball pit between them for slicers. The green on 6 is at a steep pitch so being in front of the pin is desired and any mistakes on your short game will be amplified greatly, especially in the drier months when the greens are faster. On the green at #6 if the winds are strong from the southwest you can rack up strokes quickly, in the drier months even after landing in front of the pin if you miss when putting up hill the winds and the pitch of the green can very easily put you 15 ft away from the hole when your putt's forward momentum ended within a few feet. Most of the sand traps aren't maintained, doesn't really bother me. The greens are fairly slow typically, but in the dryer months they can be somewhat fast. The staff does a decent job maintaining the greens, but a lot of the players don't deal with divots.
They have a driving range that I was going to try once, but they had to close it due to a lack of balls. The pro stated that he thinks people had been taking and using a lot of the range balls on the course.
Overall, now I think this 9 hole course is fun, but as a beginner with a bad slice I found it to be very frustrating.
Nice Little Course - 2 Beautiful Holes
I have played this course about a half dozen times over the years. For a little 9-hole course, it is nice and reasonably maintained. I usually play 18 or 27 holes when I play there. Several of the holes are beautiful. The cart paths are in great shape; greens are slow but in good shape. The cost is minimal.
