Hail Ridge Golf Course

This is a nice golf course, and very good for the money. This course is located between Kansas City and Columbia, MO. I live in KC. My son goes to U of Mo in Columbia. This is a convenient place to meet. The course was not crowded and the staff members we extremely friendly. They even recommended restaurants in Booneville for dinner after our round. Would recommend this course for those in the Columbia area or KC residents heading east.

keep the ball in play and you can score well. heavy rough on the edges and a few challenging tee shots on ten and 17. very fun and very nice use of the lay of the land.

Nice course with very few sand traps, but there is water on numerous holes. Relaxing atmosphere, chipping green, driving range and enjoyable course at a good price.

It was a beautiful day, even though I didn't play well. Course was in good condition and had it almost to myself.

The staff couldn't have been friendlier and the course was very well maintained for this time of year. I highly recommend this course to anyone staying in the Columbia-Boonville area.

This course has large open fairways that are dry and hard packed with very short turf so anyone who drives the ball well will be rewarded with very good roll distance which translates to better than average birdie chances. There is only one sand trap on the course and it is easy to avoid on the short par 4 18th. Good players will rate this as an easy course and novice players like my self will rate it at moderate.

played early, played fast. had a great time on a great course. played 18 holes in around 3hrs.

This was the best golfing experience I’ve had in Missouri. The clubhouse is just seconds from the highway and check-in was quick and easy. Lunch items, snacks and drinks were all reasonably priced. I guess the threat of rain and the windy conditions kept folks away as I was sent off the first tee on my own. I play very quickly, so usually I catch the group in front and just play with them. What impressed me on this day was that I came up on a total of three twosomes, and each time, they gladly suggested that I play through. They continued to play at the pace they enjoyed and I had the opportunity to do the same. To me, that speaks volumes about the course and the good folks who play there regularly. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in good shape, rewarding those well-struck shots. What I like most about the course is that par is a realistic score for an average golfer. None of the holes are so long that you had to hit woods or hybrids into the greens. But with that said, there are still plenty of shots to be lost in the woods, water or tall grass if you start hooking or slicing badly. The only complaint I had was the parking lot. It is gravel, and it’s the worst kind of gravel you can have with lots of huge, very sharp rocks.

In real good shape, the greens rolled smooth. Watch out for all the native grass, mishits do not go unpunished!

The course has a nice layout with open fairways and sometimes challenging hole locations. The most difficult is the rough, never seen anywhere so thick. So avoid the roughs and it will be a most pleasant outing.

The course was in pretty good shape, the majority of fairways and roughs were in good condition and the greens had been arirated and were decent. Long course with a lot of long par 4's and 5's. Not very much sand and only a few holes where water comes into play. Overall for the low price its not a bad deal.
