Nice track
Staff very friendly
Greens were a little fuzzy
Other than that, course was sweet
Didn’t expect price, maybe the cost of maintenance is going up on their end
If you have not played The Sanctuary
Go play it, the lay out is exceptional
All things considered a great day of golf...
42 degrees at tee-off with rain and 12 mph wind. The condition of the course was excellent, considering the weather and several days of rain.
A good course.
A difficult course that the average golfer may not enjoy but someone who wants to experience a challenging layout will appreciate the Sanctuary.
I have to say the starter did an excellent job.
Great Course
This was my first time playing the course and it was excellent! Really fun layout and for it being so early in the season it was in great shape. Greens were a bit bumpy and slower than expected, but I’m going to attribute that to being very early in the season still. The fairways were perfect. Bunkers were in excellent playing condition. You definitely got that country club-like feel in terms of the conditions. I can’t wait to come back and play it mid-season! It’s going to be phenomenal.
Wow is an understatement
You cant expect much in April in Ohio, but this course was in mid season form. The fairways were tight and the greens were flawless. This was a great course. Get out and play this course now. It is in that good of shape.
Great course!
Other than the fairway grass being cut too short, the course was in great shape.
Nice course
Warm sunny, but windy day. Got a good GolfNow rate so we tried this one out. Very nice, surprisingly sprawling course in N. Canton. Still early in season so most tee boxes were closed. Course is in very nice shape. Enjoyed the variety of the back 9 a little more than the front. Staff here are SO friendly and helpful. Pace of play was very slow on the front, but eased up on the back as some only played 9. Course in very nice shape for late March. Would definitely like to play this course again when all the tee boxes are ready. Will recommend to others.
Excellent public golf.
This course will be perfect by May. Excellent layout, greens already rolling. Looking forward to many rounds here throughout the season.
great track
Want to play it when the trees are green. Will be very pretty course
Want to g
Flip them nines?
If you haven’t played there yet, you should. Simple as that. Looking forward to my next round there.
We are fortunate around here to have many of Mr. Huntley’s designs to play, I’ve played them all and they are all fun, this being no exception. However, I have had a slight gripe about the awkwardness of the layout making the turn. Here’s my solution in two parts.
1. Flip the nines.
2. Start the back on the par 3 (what is now #9) and finish with number eight which we all know is screaming to be one of the best finishes in the area. That’s it. So 10-18,9,1-8. Perfection
