Course and greens in great shape. Wet, cart path only. following all Covid 19 restrictions. Staff ( ranger) marginally friendly

Nice track in good condition given the rainy weather and pandemic. Greens were a bit slower than I remember, or at least compared to other similar courses in the area. Starter was a bit abrasive and demanding, which was odd considering there were about 12 cars in the parking lot. Back 9 is walking-only, not sure how long that will go on for.

Do to the virus, everything was in order. On line booking, cart were ready to go, staff was giving instructions about all the safety need on the course, other people in the foursome understood what was needed and we had a great round of golf in these time we face today in American. Would like all course that a open where this nice and understanding.

The course was in great shape and pace of play couldn’t have been better. The greens are fairly fast and they hold very well.

Played here for the first time and was very impressed. Just a solid, fun, playable layout with good conditions despite it only being early April. Actually got bounce and roll from tee shots whereas my club still has shots plugging and vanishing all over. Not a bad hole out there. Wish I lived closer as I would be out there all the time. Also did a nice job handling the CVD19 crisis. Spaced tee times out 15 mins apart. Made for a great day during stressful times.

What a great course and experience to come to the Sanctuary--good value for a fun course. Great variety of holes with quick play!

Played this course maybe 7 or 8 years ago and it’s not The course I remember as just so-so. They have the biggest and best tee boxes I’ve seen in N.E. Ohio. The fairways are perfect and the greens were in beautiful shape. The day we played John (I think) was grilling hot dogs and burgers outside and Jill and Dixie were so very nice behind the counter..MY travel time is close to an hour and twenty minutes from the Ohio -Pa. border ,but I’m glad I made the trip.. Will try to return before winter.

THIS COURSE IS ALWAYS A GOOD PLAY. IF YOU ARE PLAYING WELL THEN YOU CAN EXPECT TO SCORE WELL. PLAYING HTE PROPER TEES IS A GREAT THING AS SCORING IS MUCH BETTER. GREENS HOLD AND ROLL WELL, TRAPS MIGHT BE A LITTLE IN NEED OF SAND BUT DECENT. PACE WAS GREAT AT 2:00 IN THE AFTERNOON. ALWAYS ENJOY PLAYING THERE.

I always enjoy playing The Sanctuary. The layout is unlike any other course. No hole feels familiar and generic. I was able to pay $29 for a hot deal and I believe it's worth it.

Great course with a good variety of challenges. For example, on the first 4 holes you will face a narrow par 4 fairway, a raised (and bunker protected) Par 3, a blind second shot over a hill on a Par 5, and a risk vs. reward carry over a pond on a short Par 4.

Fairway conditions were great and greens were very well kept, especially on the back 9 where some are surrounded by trees. Typically we might see some bare spots, but the entire green/fringe ecosystem was lush around the course.

Highly recommended, especially if you can get a Hot Deal tee time.
