Eagle Ranch Golf Club

About
Situated in Brush Creek Valley, Eagle Ranch Golf Club sits at an elevation of 6,600 feet above sea level. Golfers can expect uneven lies as well as scenic views. Arnold Palmer designed the layout, which includes an interesting variety of mountain and links-style holes. The open, rolling fairways lead to large, undulating greens that play very fast. There is water on most of the holes and strategically placed bunkers throughout. The challenging golf course will test your abilities but the spectacular views of the surrounding Sawatch Mountains will test your concentration. Eagle Ranch Golf Club demands accuracy but with five sets of tees there is something for golfers of all abilities.

Always a great place to play
Early in season, so greens were a little rough. Great condition for April and played in under 4 hours!!!
Challenging
All the grass, was well cut, everything ,but the timing to winterizing the greens was the only negativity, rest was very good.
Eagle Ranch
Eagle Ranch plays very well in length and lay out as a fair but challenging course. While many of the mountain courses are overpriced in my opinion we were able to play ER for $60 with a cart on a Friday which is a great value! Hot Deal!
Nice track and great course conditions. Greens were excellent
Eagle Ranch
Course was challenging but fare . It would reward you if you had a good shot.
Most of the greens were very big.lots of bunkers to deal with.
Had a great time.would love to play again.
First time playing this course.
Course Great, Staff Indifferent
Course was in good shape. Nice Arnold Palmer layout. Starter was great. Cart boy at end of round just abandoned us. Just left bags in rack. Did not take to van or at least next to it. Complained to pro staff and all they said was that “we don’t put bags in cars”. No sorry, or any other thing said. Never had this happen at any other course.
Perfect Greens!
Greens were excellent being fast and smooth. Fairways were better than average but being May, I must say, I was surprised. Layout was ok with moderate difficulty. Highly recommend to play the course if in the Vail/BeaverCreek area.
Public course very good
Even though very early in the season for this ski area the greens were in excellent shape. The fairways still had some filling in to do, but were still very good for this time of year. The back 9 was harder than the front and had some spectacular views. The staff were friendly and the practice facilities quite good. Definitely worth a visit.
Best staff I've seen in Colorado
No exaggeration, they were excellent. Every outside services person asked how I liked the course and the guy in the shop gave me $10 off when he didn't really have to. While I've seen more exciting courses in this area, the people alone make this worth checking out. Course has Arnie's fingerprints all over it.
Great Fall Course
While all other mountain courses are closing, this one is still in phenomenal condition considering the current weather conditions. Greens are rolling smooth.
Excluding the condition of the greens course was in good shape
Excluding the condition of the greens course was in good shape
We were not notified that the greens had recently been aerated been sanded and were impossible to putt with any degree of accuracy .
The Ranger was very pleasant but refused to allow my wife and I out as a twosome at our scheduled tee time.We did team up with two pleasant young man
Fun, Challenging Course
First of all, I got a deal on GolfNow that one I couldn't refuse. I've played this course before and knowing a little more about it sure did help.
Although the carts have GPS and distance information, the course has some tricky berms, bunkers and ball-eating grass to make your day more challenging.
It is challenging, but fair. The course was in great shape, the greens fast, but true and the weather was perfect (except for the early evening sun blasting your eyes on the last few holes. Make sure you have someone watching your shots if you play after 2pm).
This is a much better course than the Vail Golf Club where I normally play. It's down valley a bit, but worth the drive because it's usually a bit warmer, too.
Great day. Fun round.
Fast greens and well maintained
Beautiful setting. The course was in the best shape that I have ever seen it. Very fast greens and perfect fairways. Don't miss the fairways or you can easily loose your golf ball in the native grasses.
A little quirky
Like most mountain courses, ER is a little tricked-up. The greens were quick and true, and you had to respect them.
Nice Course
Very nice value for a course to play around Vail area. The course can be challenging from the Gold but very fair from the blue tee. The greens were in perfect condition and roll true to the line. You can actually bombs away on many holes and that can be fun.
How is ER tricked up?
