Horrible Greens
HORRIBLE!! Played there a couple weeks ago. The greens are in the poorest condition possible. Brown grass-patches of no grass -bumpy greens. Still very high priced. Staff unresponsive.
Disappointed
Played 8 rounds of golf and each day the condition of the greens got worse. It would’ve been nice to have gotten a discount for the course conditions. I’ve reached out to Divi Links but have yet to hear back from them.
Pace of play was ok for a resort course.
Fine 9 hole course for the only game in town
We've played on other islands and this one is very playable. Dont expect perfection and you'll have an enjoyable game. Some undulation and water to proivide a bit of a change up, front 9 and back 9 tee offs to provide a bit of difference if you play 18. With the heat, beaming sun and humidity 9 holes was enough for us. Fairways in good condition.
Divi Resort
Great bones. Hole layouts challenging but fair. Nice par 3s.
Understand it is a resort course but observed a lack of etiquette for a number of players. Failing to repair divots, ball marks. Kids running around and taking too many swings, someone drove on a green, etc.
Poor conditions slow play
We weee the 2nd group out and the pace was horrific. Group in front hit 2-3 each and no one on course to regulate. No cart girl. The greens were like putting on a battlefield. Holes, dirt and rocks on greens.
Overall good
Some greens were horrible and poorly maintained. Overall decent course
Divi
It’s a nine hole course
Many tees to play from
Not a dessert course like the other one on the island
Fun to okay
Enjoyed playing Divi
Course was in reasonable condition. Pace of play was good.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Wind
First time we played the wind was terrible. Blew your ball off the tee. Second time it was great...no wind.. greens are a little rough. First course we've played where they don't provide bottled water
Poor quality but correct layout
Not disappointed about it because we read a lot of comment mentioned that the course was poor quality… it’s not really a golf course… more a practice one. Weather is rough too! It’s always windy in Aruba! Have a great time with friends!
Divi Links - worth it !!!!
Interesting layout - wind is for real and a challenge - staff is fantastic - please don’t forget sun protection and families playing low key resort golf - you will appreciate the wet towel at the end
Bair and Switch
Terrible experience that left our son (6) in tears after showing up to play this course with a GolfNow Booking on Feb 27th, 2024. They would not honor the prepaid GolfNow price, and expected us to pay full price of $97 per person plus rentals on top of the non refundable $40 per golfer already paid to golf now. Other reviews posted a
have experianced similar tactics as appears they are running some sort of bait and switch scam. With clubs, the total cost for 9 holes for a family of 3 would have been $549 usd. That is absolutely ridiculous. We asked to compromise to play at full rate but give us credit for the $$ already paid to golf now. The pro shop manager looked at my son in tears and shrugged her shoulders saying they don't get paid from GolfNow. This was an absolutely despicable treatment of our family who have golfed all over the world using GolfNow and never experienced this. The course was empty and the Islands sloggan is "One Happy Island", not our experience. Don't Book this resort, but if you do don't book through GolfNow hot rate, I'd hate to have another family treated like we a
were.
Nice 8 hole course. Back nine is almost same tee box as front nine.
Very windy, too many iguanas everywhere!
No GPS on carts. Most of staff very friendly. Driving range you hit into a net 15 feet away. Total waste of time there.
