Love the Cedars
Great course. Only the second time we played it. Last time was 5 years ago. Forgot how beautiful it is.
Beautiful views
As always Dungeness is beautiful and well kept. It was also good to see the golf pros teaching the young kids on the putting and chipping areas. Excellent food.
Great course with tough greens
Course was in great shape. Greens were fast with a lot of undulations. Pace of play was a bit slow, due mainly to older walkers. A marshall would have been nice. I have nothing against walkers, but need to pick up the pace and talk less. I would play again. Several narrow fairways and trees lining them.
Worth the drive to sequim!
This classic course is really in top shape! Greens were quick and holding nice and very playable yardage from the white tees. Nice cool breeze also that gives you that relaxing vibe that adds to the enjoyment of playing here. Good value and worth the trip.
Unkempt
Probably due to the 4th of July weekend. Really nice greens, but the Fairways and tee boxes looked at least a couple of days overdue for mowing. No beverage cart on a Sunday. If the course had been mowed properly it would have rated 4 stars.
Good for Men and Women
I'm male but I'm going to list many of the plusses for women because I golf with my wife often and if she's happy,,,well you know. 1) red tees actually make difference and don't just give lip service by putting the red tees 10 ft in front of the whites. 2) Awesome bathrooms. This matters. 3) Walkable course. We're in out 60s and it is walkable. For men it is an avg difficulty but with variations and challenges. Good value. Played 10+ times, will play again.
Fun to play
The wife and self enjoyed playing course. The weather was great. We hacked away a good time for memories for the coming year. We will be back
Fast Greens
Marshall was very friendly and helpful. I was a single stuck behind a slow foursome, and he had me join a twosome one hole ahead. Greens in great shape and pretty fast.
Good round at Cedars
Found an excellent deal on a round for 2 and a cart. Had a great time with my golf partner and the twosome that we were paired with. The wind was very strong and made things very challenging. Course was in good shape and the food at the 19th was excellent. The new carts are nice, fast, electric and had a cooler for your use.
Windy !!!!
We love this course ! Course in great shape. All facilities emaculate. High winds dampen our enjoyment- our only negative .
Dungeness Golf
Ladies, cleanest on course restrooms I ever encountered. Greens were what us golf purist love! Excellent attention to detail.
great golf course if.....
I like this golf course but, it's so expensive for what it is. They are always doing construction and maintenance on it. I wish they mowed it more. Bucket of balls is crazy expensive. I understand this used to be a renowned golf course but, that was in the 90's. The best thing about this course is that they use "golf now" services, the only one to do so in this area. If it wasn't for the hot deals I would never go.
This is a fun course to play
I like this course, but they should have mentioned that the greends had been punched and top dressed recently.
a nice place to play!
This course is well maintained, challenging at points, well designed & a pleasure to play! my friend's & I recomend it frequently.
Excellent Course - Challenging
It is very well groomed. The greens are in great condition.
Best day in September
my friend and I have wanted to golf this course for a long time. Thanks to golf now we were able to. The course was in great condition friendly and helpful staff, we also pair up with a couple locals the played like us except one guy could hit his putter farther than my 8 iron really cool stuff. we want to return soon.
Over booked their tee times - 4 4somes on each fairway/hole
pace was extremely slow due to their overbooking. Four Foursomes per hole was terrible. 9 holes took 2+1/2 hours and they booted us off the front nine for a shotgun start tournament after only 8 holes.
We should Not have been penalized for their lack of course management. They needed a marshall and or a starter!
No two holes are alike.
A challenging course that has had many updates to make it more golfer friendly. Every hole is a different experience. The greens are smooth and slick with plenty of slope. A fun dry course.
The stimp on the greens was great.
This course can be challanging if you do not stay on the fairways. amazing views of the mountains when weather is clear, the weather can change quick so you need your wind shirt as fog can role in, in rounds between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM. and tempature drops quick. I liked this course so much we played the next day again.
Another clear day in Sequim
Often, the weather in Sequim is much better then in other areas of the Olympic Peninsula. On Sunday, we headed for the sunbelt and were rewarded with an afternoon of golf in the sun. The afternoon tee time was easy playing for the first nine. The last nine backed up but we were loving the afternoon in the sun.
This was our second time at the course, so loved figuring out how to make the best of it. The front nine is easier than the back nine. So, ready to climb that hill on the 18th and head to the cafe for drinks and dinner.
