Canajoharie Country Club

I played this course once before and liked it. Would prefer to play from the Blue tees but my playing partners were not up for it, so some holes play short, except the really long par 4 12th hole (450 yards plus but mostly downhill). Some of the parallel fairways are tricky if you are unfamiliar with the layout but the guys I played with were members and knew the angles. Will probably come back again.

I really like this course. Not too long. Interesting holes. Lots of hills (not walkable for over 60). The tricky greens and aprons were in great shape. But the fairways and tee boxes were totally dried out. If it was all green, I'd rate it near the top.

Course is at 90/95 percent. Well maintained. Greens are almost there,but very nice. Blue tees little to close to white tees. Don't no if the bar was open or food. Overall 4 1/2 stars out of 5

Whereas many of the greens in upstate NY suffered this past winter, these greens were in great shape. And fast.
My wife and I played 18 in less than 3 1/2 hours ! Great scenery on a beautiful day, at a great price. Only downside was due to a tournament going on, people were jumping holes and it got a little confusing.

Booked this Tee time from GOLFNOW as it was a great value. As an intermediate Golfer this course was pretty challenging, yet a lot of fun to play.

The Staff was very friendly and helpfull and the Faciliities are well kept and well laid out. We did not try the Food so we cannot comment on that.

The course itself is extremely well cared for and a pleasure to play on. The Greens themselves are challenging with many different variations. The course offers a lot of scenic views as well as a nice variety of challenges along the course.

My Girlfriend and I would definately recommend this course to anyone who is looking for a new challenge or just a day to play and relax at a beautifull couse.

Have played this course in the past, booked tee time as the price on GOLFNOW was unbeatable for the value. Staff was very friendly and course and facility was Excellent.

Would highly recommend this course whether your a low handicapper or just a weekend warrior. The course itself is challenging yet a lot of fun, and the fairways and Greens are well maintained.

Old course, challenging but fun. Neat little course, no frills but very nice. People were very friendly and the food was great. limited menu, but it was delicious

A little off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. Front side somewhat though the woods, back open and hilly. Although not long, the defense of this layout is the greens. Receptive, but fast, they have many undulations that can rack up strokes quickly. Also, there are a few drivable and shorter Par 4's, but beware, the greens are wide, but very shallow, with death beyond! Very friendly staff, well maintained. An enjoyable day!

Course was in great shape for late Fall play. Greens were dressed but still very playable. Layout was wide open with many adjoining fairways. Lots of elevation changes, doglegs and only a couple narrow fairways. Overall minimal, trouble on this hilltop course with great views and a fair amount of wind.

This was my first visit to Canojoharie. It's not the longest of courses for certain, but has some very interesting holes. The greens are in superb condition for late season golf. The fairways are ample and side by side holes keep you from getting into too much trouble, but the greens were fast and firm, keeping you on your toes for approach shots. Overall a very nice afternoon of golf on a very nice day. If I didn't live an hour away, I'd hit this course a few times a year with no qualms.

Stopped here play a round as a mid way point between the PGA Championship and my home in NH. I picked it because of the location but am very happy that I did. It was busy but not crowded. We went off at 2 p.m. and my wife and I played in 3 1/2 hours. There were a lot of elevated tee boxes but it evened out because the next shot was often uphill. Fairly tight. It looked a lot more open than it played. I've been playing with the same ball since 2010 because my game is short and straight. Well, I lost that ball. Over all, nice track. Make sure you have plenty of time if you order a sandwich in the snack bar. Nice folks, but speedy, not so much.

Course conditons were excellent. The greens were perfect. Fast and smooth. Nice view overlooking the Mohawk Valley. A great course for the average golfer. Challenging but possible to score decent on. A very enjoyable afternoon of golf.

The course was pristine, lush greens and well kept. The staff was very friendly. Our difficulty was getting the golf ball out of the heavy wet grass, being from Arizona we are used to a lighter, sparser grass, it costs us strokes in our game. Overall the lush foliage & panoramic views made for a great day of golf.
