Leatherstocking Golf Course

Absolutely stunning views of Otesgo Lake and surrounding area. Challenging layout with bunkers around the greens, and even a middle fairway bunker. As a relatively new golfer i found it very player friendly. Pace of play was a huge issue and got worse as our round progressed. There was a very slow group in front of us that that was slowing at least 6 groups behind them and no ranger to monitor pace of play. Definitely would recommend playing.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Multiple people bouncing from different holes, bottle decks quite frustrating with delays on course.

Love the layout and the greens were superb. Unfortunately the fairways had several issues and not what you would expect for a round of golf that costs $150.

I'm writing this review just so I can upload the pictures I took of this place, wow! I did get to play with a member, Justin, who only enhanced the experience with his local knowledge. Stunning course a must play if you are anywhere nearby. I walked from the Hall of Fame to this course, nothing was going to stop me. Staff was very friendly and conditions immaculate. Enjoyed playing this great public layout in Cooperstown, NY. Great condition and fast, small greens. Spend some time on the putting green if you can. Beautiful views and nice variety of holes. 18th is a fun finishing par 5 that requires a drive over the pond so figure out how much you can carry. Great staff and solid value.

Course is in great shape, beautiful setting, and friendly folks. We played mid day on a Tuesday, and finished in 3 hours as a twosome

I booked an early tee time & played with my son & his friend who are both very good golfers. The course was in very good condition for this early in the year. The maintenance crew was out mowing the fairways & working on the course. I love the layout especially the last 3 holes where there is water that comes into play. I will say I lost a few balls on these holes. Beautiful views of Otsego Lake on many of the holes. I was hoping to break 90 & shot 92 as I 3 putted several greens. My son played much better on the back with all pars & 3 birdies except for 1 bogey & he shot 73. We were the first group out at 8:03 & finished the round at 12:08 which is a good pace of play. Will definitely go back!

Play there yearly and never played this early but the course was in great shape and for 60 dollars you couldn’t beat it.

Beautiful course with amazing scenery and staff! Very well maintained. We will definitely be back.

Another wonderful round of golf. Conditions wonderful, but saw staff outthere making it even better.

The course did fall maintenance just 4 days before. You would not have noticed. Conditions excellent. Pace of play, we almost had the course to ourselves. Beautiful fall weather. Not the first time I've given this course 5 stars.
