Good course to sharpen your short game. Yet had some very long par 3s. Small greens putted true

Fun course to play with small greens. Course was in good shape.

I have frequented Lyndon for many years. I took my grandson out for a round there before he left for college over the weekend. It's always been considered a budget friendly option. However, the course conditions the last few years have drastically fallen off. The tee boxes have always been some of the worst around, uneven and and some are just all dirt. But recently, the "greenskeeper" (assuming there is one) has been placing tees in the long grass "fairways", off the built up tee boxes. Worst part about it is the area of the makeshift tee boxes are in two inch grass, since they just throw down the markers and don't mow an actual tee box ! Never seen this done before and I've played golf for close to 50 years. A few weeks ago, they had the tees aimed directly at the trailer park on the 15th hole. Good thing those folks have nets up! I ask the question why? the tee boxes are beat to death uneven heaps of earth already, what are they trying to save the grass on the actual tee boxes that doesn't exist?

Furthermore, the actual holes are overgrown! some of them appear to have not been cut/switched out in weeks or perhaps longer. I am not a course maintenance expert by any means, however even the cheapest courses around have cups that are cut and not overgrown. Understanding this is a "cheap" course, I would still expect tee's to be on tee boxes and regularly cut and kept cups.

Course was fun to play. No holes too long but, small greens made for shot maker course.

Course is small and a little confusing to navigate. Staff is friendly and would play here again even though there are some better courses for the same cost.

The course is dried out. The tee boxes are bare, uneven, and the first tee box has a giant hole in the middle. The carts are just as slow as walking. The staff was very friendly though. It’s not a bad layout, this course could be great with some work. The pace of play gets messed up because they have people randomly starting on ten. I was leaving the ninth green and an out of nowhere, a guy jumped on the tenth tee. We get to the tee box and after they tee off, I politely asked if he meant to be at the first tee because they rearranged the hole and the guy said “I’m a member and I’m just playing this side of the road today.” Never apologized for jumping in front of us and never offered to let us play through. We had to play behind him until it was time to cross the road where he jumped to another random hole on the original side. And after we teed off of the tenth tee, we noticed a handful of other people start on ten that were never behind us. They jumped in between us and the next group.

Overall, quality course for a good price. Course has new layout though, which was a tad confusing. All in all, decent experience.

Layout is not intuitive and could use a few more signs, otherwise a great course and value for the money.

This is a good muni. 28 dollars for 18 and a cart is an exceptional price and the course is well maintained. It gets packed and the pace is overall good. Long fairways, tight greens and somewhat easy to figure layout.

Tee boxes not marked at all.. No logical order to the holes. No clear indication of which way to go.. THe golf cart needed servicing.. No toilets, no water available on the course. Good thing we didn't pay a lot for the round.

Course is OK, considering course it is very reasonable.

Great course for the money would definitely play again
