Firethorn Course at Randpark Club was designed by Sid Brews. The course has matured over the years and has undergone a number of improvements to maintain its contemporary appeal.
In 1990, the greens complexes were completely redesigned by Golf Data and architect Mark Muller. A number of tees were re-aligned and extended, resulting in the championship tees now measuring a total of 7014 metres making it one of the longest par 72 golf courses in South Africa, challenging the best golfers to "tame it".

The new Firethorn at Randpark
The new Firethorn at Randpark was all it promised to be! What a radical transformation, seven brand new holes, 18 new greens and greens complexes. Sean Quinn, course designer did a fabulous job! I will be back.
