Golfer Reviews
One of Arizona's best
Unfortunately, lightning and rain ended my round after just three holes, but after driving several other holes en route back to the amazing clubhouse, it was easy to see that Pine Canyon is beyond special.
It stands out in a crowded golf landscape in Arizona. The mountainous terrain and pine trees of Flagstaff (elevation 7,000 feet) give it a whole different feel than all those desert courses in Scottsdale two hours to the south.
I can't vouch for every hole, but I can vouch for the experience. The men's locker room, which is separate from the main clubhouse dining area, is a hangout where football and drinks rule. It's the ultimate man cave.
If you get the chance to sneak inside the gates to play Pine Canyon, rearrange your entire schedule. It's worth it.
Heaven in Earth
This is by far the best course I have ever played. From the manicured fairways to the smoothest greens you will ever putt on. Amenities at every turn. This is a true 5 star experience that carries from the course into the club house. As an added bonus, there is a 19 th hole to solidify the wagers placed during the round.
must play
probably the best course in / around flagstaff.
fair test of golf from back mixed tees. great yardage distances due to elevation. not a course for beginners but worth taking in the scenery. will play it again
