The River Course at Harpeth Valley Golf Center

This is a fun little tract. Lots of different ways to play each hole from pitch to full swing. Definitely will play again when back in Nashville.

Perfect place to practice any part of your game.

Grass, mats, sand, chipping greens, putting greens, club repair and lessons are all at your disposal here.

The nine hole par 3 is fun with buddies, makes for exciting bets.

Staff is friendly, you’ll actually feel welcomed.

Harpeth Valley Golf Center actually charges $30 to walk a poorly conditioned par three pitch and putt. I can play an 18 hole regulation golf course down the road with a cart for that. Plus the range balls are almost DOUBLE what they cost at McCabe. Harpeth Valley Golf Center has priced themselves out of the market, no wonder the place is empty.

First time playing here. Can't beat the price. Quick 9 in about 70 minutes. Greens are very slow. Will play again.

If you’ve never been golfing and you’re looking for a course to give it a try, this would be a good one. If you’ve played a good bit, you’ll be very bored and frustrated here. Nothing challenging about the layout and the greens are really rough. Mostly beginners here so pace of play is very slow, and a little dangerous as tight as the course is. The staff is very friendly and patient with beginners, and they offer lender clubs if you need some.

This is a basic course. I rate excellent for what it is - it’s not The Harbourtown Links. It’s also $10-15 for a round. Staff was friendly, course was well maintained, not too crowded.

Staff is the best I have ever met! Fairways were perfect.

Super laid back 9 hole par 3 course. I brought my Fiance who has never played, and we played a quick scramble. Great to get outside, and very beginner friendly. The staff were very nice.
