Located in Waynesville, Double Eagle Golf Center is a player-friendly nine-hole course. The course opened in 2004, making it one of the area's newer courses. It is still relatively unknown and usually never crowded. It is a good option when the more popular courses are packed. The golf course is a par-3, links-style design that is short, but it is good for some quick practice. There are very few hazards overall but there are some holes that feature water. The course is ideal for beginners and it is even gentle enough for junior golfers but those looking for a challenging test should look elsewhere. There are even more opportunities to get some practice at Double Eagle with a driving range and a one-acre short game practice area.
