beautiful day
Hadn't played her in several years, played here for the wife's birthday. Great practice facility, except for hitting of mats. One thing I forgot about the course is that most of the holes except for par 3s, are blind tee shots to the greens, you need to put your self in the correct position for second shot. Tee boxes were in great condition, as were the fairways. The back 9 holes are the nicest as there are no homes on several of the holes. Front 9 lots of homes. The greens were the best I have played on this season, in perfect condition, hardly any ball marks to fix. I should play here more than once every few years.
Great Gem in the Mountains
Great course in the mountains at fair value when booking through GolfNow. Course was in as good of condition as I've seen for a public course. 14 handicappers and below should play the blue tees due to length and extra carry from altitude. Planning on returning with a small group. A MUST PLAY IF IN THE AREA.
Beautiful Scenic Pristine
Is my third time playing Bailey Creek and I would definitely recommend everyone that is in the area play it at least once! I have played it three times and plan on playing it every time I come up to the lake Almanor area!!!
Beautiful course
Bailey Creek Golf Course locating makes it one of the best places to get away from the big cities and enjoy a round of golf up in the pines. Surrounded by beautiful homes. Enjoy the fresh air and try this course... you will not regret it.
Excellent!!!!
The course was pristine nice weather friendly staff and beautiful to play!!! Great deal
Bailey Creek rocks
Have played here many times and it's a great mountain course. For a 10 handicapper or less, play from the tips.
Memorial Day memorial
Fun course , a bit slow on pace due to some very slow players. Ultimately let us play through though. Greens slow but rolled well. Course in great shape, staff wonderfull, scenery fantastic.
WOW!! Well that was worth the drive...
Beautiful course in fantastic shape at an amazing price! I drove up from Chico that morning -- and hour and a half and was worth every mile of the gorgeous drive. The course is well designed - difficult but fair. The greens were a tad slow, but I have a feeling they will firm up in the summer and be perfect. The people were very nice as well. All in all, one of the best golf experiences I've had since moving back up to NoCal.
nice leisurely aft round
excellent value for an afternoon round, course in very good condition, caught some thunder and rain for a couple of holes on the back but did not deter from round, they are running a play all day rate so pro shop would not let me on even though no one teed off for the whole hour before my time,,when I got on the course was pretty much empty, still a very enjoyable round
Had a great time
This is my third time playing Bailey Creek. Overall the course was in great condition, but the sand could have been a little fluffier in the bunkers. That is really my only complaint. Everything else was top notch. Well maintained, good cart, and fun as heck to play. A couple of signature holes that bring me back each year. The staff in the pro shop were friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend Bailey Creek.
spectavular course
Super layout with fast greens have plenty of tee boxes
To challe ge all level course was in superb shape every where guybin pro shop gave me yardage card and pointed out what to avoid on each hole super service cant wait to go back
Hidden Gem in the Lake Almanor area.
This is one of my most favorite tracks in all of California! Bailey Creek has it all, long hard par 4's to full carries over water par 3's to grip it a rip it (use the elevation) to be on in 2 par 5's. Never miss a chance to play this track. Get the home made chips and the tri-tip!

We love it when our customers keep coming back...Hope to see you at the course again really soon!
Bailey's the Best
Wow, what a find. If there's a drought going on in this state you sure can't tell at this place! Generous lush fairways with absolutely beautiful trees. Greens
were bowled for the most part which I really enjoyed.
Couldn't get enough of this place!

Very happy to read that you enjoyed our course. Our location is remote, but well worth the drive. Come back and see us again really soon!
Home course away from home
Just 45 minutes from our mountain cabin, Bailey Creek is our "second home" course. It is in terrific condition, with lush fairways and very true greens, amazing given the current drought conditions in Northern California. The course features a variety of challenges, from very short par threes to full length par fives with abundant bunkers, trees to navigate around and through, and several holes with considerable elevation changes.

Love all the positive reviews...Thank you for being a great customer and spreading the word about Bailey Creek.
Great Golf Outing at Bailey Creek
Great value as course is in excellent condition, challenging but fair course layout and reasonable playing time for 18 holes.
A must play if you are in the Chester/Lake Almanor Area!!!

Glad you enjoyed your round with us. We always appreciate positive reviews...Especially when someone experiences our course for the first time. Come back and see us really soon!
One of my favorites!!
I REALLY like this course......beautiful fairways and greens, it is an excellent condition for a course only open for the warm months of the year. Only problem we encountered was the club house employee who claimed he could not change our golf now tee time even though no one tee'd off for at least a half hour prior to our time. Then just before our time, he let on a foursome before our twosome which played slow for the rest of the day. I really got the impression that we were not welcome as we had discounted tee times. The other staff such as the "cart girl" and the snack bar servers were way above average. All in all, I really like this place but had a somewhat bad experience with the club house clerk.

Very happy to hear that you enjoyed our course. We will do our best to make sure you have a more pleasant experience next time your in our pro shop.
Beautiful
A beautiful coarse that most players can play. Keep your ball in the center of the fairway and away from the bunkers.

Very happy to hear that you enjoyed the course. We hope to see you again and hopefully more often.
Worth the drive
This is a hidden gem that is somewhat off the beaten path. Unfortunately, we don't play it as often as we would like but when we do it's always special. It's an interesting course in beautiful setting. If you get the chance to play here, take it. You won't regret it.

Thank you for the positive review....Hope to see you again really soon.
Brilliance
This course is absolutely fantastic. There's not one brown patch of grass on the entire course. The fairways are wide enough to make it enjoyable, but if you get off into the rough you'll need extra effort to save par. We do a stay and play here every year in October and it's one of the best public mountain courses in all of Northern California.
We are glad you enjoyed the course...Come see us again real soon.
