Lake Almanor West Golf Course

We normally avoid 9 hole golf courses. They tend to be cramped, flat and not very interesting. This is an exception to the rule however. It's set back in the trees and has some moderate elevation changes. We usually play Bailey Creek across the lake and then catch West Lake on the way home. Makes for a great golf week-end.

Friendly and knowledgable staff. Knew about my golfnow.com reservation, had everything ready to go. Great service. The course itself was in immaculate shape. From tees, to fairways and greens, everything well manicured and taken care of. There were even very few pine cones on the course which I'm sure is not an easy task. Great experience and I plan on making this my golf stop whenever I am in Almanor.

Good driving range and pre-game options were good. Excellent club house and dining area with super views of Mt Lassen and I am a local. Thumbs up!

Very good conditioned course and very scenic as well. Lush fairways great greens and majestic pines!
