Course in good condition. Slow pace.
Nice greens. Course NOT woman friendly. Not set up for ladies. Slow, a group of 7 in front of us. In front of them two groups of VERY SLOW group of 4 old guys. SLOW is an absolute.
Challenging course. Beautiful shape.
Lots of timber and lakes for sure. Course was in phenomenal condition. Great experience. I will definitely be back soon.
One of best GCs
I played here 12/29/2022. It was about 50 degree.
It was maintained well for winter time.
I would come back and golf again this summer.
Exceptional
First time playing. Best tee box I've played all year. Greens very smooth and not punched. You understand the naming of the course on the back nine... A lot of TIMBER and LAKES
Pristine but slow pace of play
Very difficult course but was in excellent condition. Caution…get behind a foursome of grandpas and you will fall 30-45 minutes behind a normal 9 hole round.
Timberlake Golf Course
Good course to play. The greens were in excellent shape
Golf ruined by SLOW PLAY
Our twosome had long waiting times on each shot...it took us over 5 1/2 hours to play even though we skipped the last hole, Will not ever play this course on the weekend.
Great course
Wide open front 9 with a narrow back 9. Course was overall in good shape with just a few holes having a few small weeds on the green.
Ok course with some bumpy cart paths
This course has some of the narrowest fairways I’ve played around the area. The front 9 holes are fairly mediocre and tight with some improvement on the back 9. The 9th hole and the final 5-6 holes are fun with interspersed lakes and pretty good scenery Thankfully I was paired with another guy who had played there several times and knew the layout…otherwise, this being my first time, I would’ve been lost with multiple holes having hidden lakes and rough. The pace of play was very slow with multiple foursomes of older gentlemen playing earlier on weekday mornings apparently but if you go in the afternoon it may clear up a bit. The huge downfall of this course is the old carts and horrible cart paths. I’m talking the worst I’ve ever seen with the bumps so bad that you had to check it things were flying out of your cart and a couple of times they did. And the cart i used had a rip in the seat, would backfire when I was pulling away slowly from where I had hit, and the worst brakes of any cart I’ve used. They would stay locked even when the cart was going 10 mph. Overall an ok course but I’ll probably try other courses around the area, especially with them being cheaper on golf now comparatively.
