Spectacular with weak points
No indication to next hole, many pitch marks on the greens.
Magnificient course
This course is perfectly maintained and with magnificient views on the sea.
But quite difficult with wind.
Super
Beau parcours, des fois ce n'est pas évident de retrouver le trou suivant.
Il manque des panneaux "Next tee"
Spectacular scenery
Spectacular scenery on 2nd 9 and pace of play improved. Definitely worth playing and aim for an early tee time.
Fp
So and so. First Nine normal, second one on the sea but with many people around the course. Bunkers not good!
Incredible views, challenging course
We played 4 times over a 2 week holiday. We booked in advance of our holiday so might not have played so many times if we’d waited until we’d played once. The course is in pretty good condition and is quite challenging. The grass is very spongy so plays very different to back home in the UK. (Not a criticism just a note). The views on the back 9 are spectacular. Pace of play was a real problem. It was very hot whilst we were there hence no-one was rushing. However all 4 games took between 4 1/2 and 5 hours and we were in a buggy! The buggy organiser came to speed us up but there was no hope to be fair as everyone was backed up. The girl in the pro shop was very nice, friendly and helpful. We only ate in the restaurant once. The restaurant staff were not very friendly and didn’t make us feel very welcome. The menu is very expensive and serves a small menu of high quality food. So if you fancy a club sandwich or a burger forget it. The food that we had was very nice, just not what we wanted after 18 holes. It was a shame but after the first round we didn’t eat there again and went straight home after each round. We will definitely return to play again as the course is well worth a visit but won’t play so many times.
Pebble Beach in Europe
I played this course with a huge wind, stronger that It normally is; nevertheless the round was super fun to play. The design with its layout is a little gem by Robert Trent Jones Sr and It gives you the opportunity to play several holes right over the cliffs near Bonifacio, with the night of the islands Piana, Lavezzi and Sardinia.
Course conditions were average, the greens especially could have been cute faster and the staff could have been nicer, in the spirit of the game. Also a starter would have helped because the starting times were a little messy.
But overall an incredibile golfing experience.
Be sure
The 9 last holes are on the sea and wonderful. The issue is the course condition. The greens are horrible. But most of all as I played it 3 times during my stay. When you arrive in 10. There’s always players who start on 10. This is the worst thing to see when you get to the 10th hole.
Beautiful but badly maintened
Beautiful course with beautiful views but very badly maintened : fairways too high , bunkers sand packed and with weeds, greens with hole more than one week.
Entretien trop moyen
Fairway trop haut, trou identique plus d’une semaine =>une balle contre le drapeau ne peut pas rentrer !. Entretien des bunkers inexistants : sable tassé, herbe dans les bunkers. Le site est exceptionnel, c’est tout.
