Finally!
A decade ago, we walked past and over this golf court on our way to plage petit Sperone, now, about 9 years later, we were finally able to play.
It could not have been more wonderful! Challenging courses, amazing views and great memories!
Sperone Golf Course.
Rather underwhelming front nine hole but the back nine are great. My review is to highlight the maintainence of the course. Bunkers are almost unplayable as there is (as last time I played Sperone) virtually no sand and what little there is, is baked. The course would appreciate a bit of TLC as it does appear slightly neglected…That said…..I would still go back and play again………in the hope that greenkeeping improved…..
Great location, beautiful views
Great course, beautiful setting, extremely varied and challenging. A course made for lower handicap players than myself.
Bunkers are mostly in very bad condition - the rest is pretty well groomed, albeit with a lot of clover…

Unique, beautiful course
A stunningly situated course with the back nine overlooking to ocean to Sardinia.
A very unique mix of links and rugged landscape with incredible views.
The facilities are good and the restaurant had delicious food.
After a round, you can eat and walk down to grand Sperone beach for a swim.
Amazing day, would highly recommend.

I wanted to play this golf course for many years. Today was the day. first nine holes are ok , undulated, lots of trees, but poor fairways and poor greens. second nine is what it’s all about, stunning views, some really good holes, better fairways, equally bad greens though. I played from the black tees, which made the course definitely challenging.
My overall conclusion is that this course is not as good as I hoped. Also, very slowly, we have not seen a Marshall, but they were holes where there were five flights one hole…..
