About
A Robert Trent Jones Sr design course is 18 holes and deployed on 5506 meters (Par 71), and the layout of the Riviera Golf de Barbossi is both technical and strategic, require a well-placed tee-off and the use of bunkers, lakes and slopes placed with a great deal of finesse.
Located on the heights of the bay of Cannes, the Riviera Golf de Barbossi offers golf with a breath-taking view of the Esterel’s mountain and the Barbossi’s vineyards. The course challenges all golfers whilst ensuring an enjoyable round of golf and a nice walk.
A driving range is also at the Riviera Golf de Barbossi which allows you to warm up, practice and perfect your game.

Questionable layout, but fun and pretty.
As so many older courses Barbossi struggles to remain a fair test with modern equipment. Especially for the long hitter who may be severely punished for great drives. Many trees have over grown their original stategic purpose and are hiding the view of hazards that can’t be seen from the tees. The greens are traditionally flat as opposed to the modern elevated usga-style but are well kept, which also can be said about the bunkers. Fairways tend to be soggy in wet conditions and rock hard in the heat of summer.
One of the nicest club houses and terraces on the Riviera is a great place for lunch or drinks. A great bonus is the multitude of eye catching sculptures on and around the course.
Great course for women as ladies tees are fairly placed well forward of their male playing partners.
Apart from charging 12 Euros for rusty two wheel pull trolleys (- extremely annoying! Invest in new 3-wheelers, please!) and a now +100€ early spring greenfee, you will have a nice day with easy access from the A8 motorway.
Treasur of the Esterel
Beautiful place ,easy to find, very welcoming staff, restaurant is exellent. The course is pretty unique with arts and sculpture all over it very fine place.

Extremely expensive and the course was very dry due to the heat. They also charged me nearly 140 euros for club rental and buggy.
Really fun course, quite slow play but beautiful scenery.
Loved it, but wouldn’t pay half of that! 250 euros all together.
Bunkers en mauvais état. Personne ne ratisse. Des vieux cons jouent avec ma balle sans se rendre compte. Les trous sont mal affichés et il est très facile de se tromper de fairway, voir même de Green.

Over priced
Greens where terrible. Pace of play slow. Horrendous customer service and Tangela’s mats without ability to tee up for drivers
Très joli parcours
Plutôt physique, belles grimpettes, pas mal d'eau, mais très intéressant à jouer. Un plus pour les sculptures. Et un grand plus pour la sympathie du starter.
Beautiful course and playable in winter
Second time on the course in February. The weather has been unusually wet but the course remains playable overall. Much more interesting and challenging than the nearby course.
The view is fantastic. The clubhouse is first class. The restaurant is worthwhile and the staff very pleasant.
