Great shape but tough
Good track. Lightening greens, not an easy course for high handicap’s , no shack after 9 and only seen the cart once per 9
Aerated greens
Understand you have to aerate the greens, but they have so much sand on them, you need a driver to putt (maybe an exaggeration but very slow). It's a shame because those greens were so good this year.
Need a marshal badly
Front nine took almost 2 1/2 hours to finish. This is the second time that we have had to play the front nine twice. There were two foursomes that were composed of elderly people. By the end of the front nine, they were holding up 7 groups, ridiculous. After hole 3, there was always 2 groups waiting on each tee box.
Greens are in great shape
Greens are fast and true. They have obviously done a lot of work on them. Big improvement from previous rounds. Last 2 times at Claresholm, the wind was 40 - 50 kilometers. Basically unplayable and not too much fun. Wind was still blowing, but definitely manageable.

Overall course is in great shape, particularly the greens
Need a marshal badly
Front nine had a 3 some that was holding up 5 groups. Ridiculously slow and obviously oblivious to the fact that they were holding everyone up. Ended up doing the front nine again to get away from them (and the fact the back 9 is more open and it was really windy)
So windy
Front nine was windy but no big deal. Back nine? By hole 12, I was ready to quit. It was so strong you could barely swing.

First nine was very very slow. There was a 3 some infront of the 4 some that was directly in front of us. They were holding back 5 groups. Terrible. We ended up doing the front nine twice just to get rid of them. Ridiculously windy, for the second time in a row.
