Cochrane Golf Club

This course was great to play. Open fairways. Some challenging fairways. Well placed pins on the greens.
Would definitely play this course again.

Course is in great condition , would be perfect to take family out for a round nice and wide open , just my opinion though is that I think green fee's a little high for only 9 holes in saying that It's a nice track

My girlfriend and I teed off at 8:10 AM, joined by another guy who booked using GolfNow. After the first hole, he went on his own as my girlfriend is learning and we were a little slower (she only played 5/6 holes on the front nine, and two on the back). The front 9 was average, greens were slow, bunkers were hard, but it played fine.
We made the turn for the second 9 (9 hole course so you play the same 9 twice) around 10:10. When we pulled up there were about 30 seniors on the tee. The starter looked at his sheet and told me we should have came through with the other guy and that he couldn't fit us in due to a tournament happening. And we would have to wait a half hour before we could continue.
So we went into the clubhouse to get a drink and sit down. I told the girl working that it was poor timing to have people tee off for 18 holes at 8:10 and start a tournament at 10:00 and she said 'it's because we booked with GolfNow'. I was friendly with all of my interactions with the course workers, but stated my disappointment with the timing. All I received in return was bad attitude.
When we finally got back to the tee, the starter told me to go ahead, and proceeded to mock me for complaining. I reminded him that I wasn't blaming him, I just thought it was silly to schedule a tournament at 10:00 when you have people teeing off for 18 holes at 8:10. This was when he said it wasn't a tournament, just a large group. If it was just a large group, we should have been put in the middle. Finally he said 'You're supposed to be having fun on the golf course' to which I replied 'That's what I'm trying to do, but sitting around for a half hour in the middle of my round isn't what I consider fun'. He then proceeded to mock me some more.
The rest of the day was incredibly slow, with wait times of 15 minutes or more at each hole.
I will not play this course again.

Very nice course. Great staff. Great bar for lunch after. Worth a visit.

First time playing here with a friend. Too many leaves on the ground - lost few balls in fairway. Layout not bad. Less experienced golfers on course resulted in slower play.

It was a tad slow on front nine with no sign of the marshal until the 9th hole . Otherwise it was a nice day for golf.

Have golfed here many times. Normally walk 9 holes but carted 18 with a friend this time. Not a good experience at all. Saw the beverage cart on the 2nd hole after we started, asked her if we'd see her again(theres a history of them just disappearing at this course) she says yes and never saw anyone again, all the while the course is packed!! On 11 called the club house they said they would send someone right out…never saw anyone? Last 9 we had the marshall riding everyone, telling them she has to have everyone off the course by 6 for mens night, although the pro shop was packing us in on the back 9, 5 -10 minute waits at the T boxes. Very poor organization. After went for a pint to the clubhouse lounge, Kilarneys(couldn't get one on the course) and the staff are very poor. More into visiting than serving. I never post on these reviews but was so frustrated leaving I wanted to help them out by sending people elsewhere, as they seem way to busy!!

Annually, my wife and I try to get away for a 7 to 19 day holiday. Cochrane was our ninth stop. Having played here a few years ago, we found the course to again be great shape, staff were pleasant and professional and good value for the money spent. We both would recommend this course to our friends.

Nice course, only 9 holes so you play the same 9 if you wish to do18 holes. I like the course, the staff are friendly. We have always joined up with either 1 or 2 more players and have found everyone friendly and there to enjoy the game.

This is a nice in town course at Cochrane Alberta. It is challenging because it is narrow and if you spray the ball at all it is challenging to score well. I only had time for 9 holes but very fun to play.

Great place to go for a friendly quiet round. Love it!

My wife and I played, she really liked the course as the front tees allowed her to reach greens in regulation. Starter introduce herself and asked for our names, came out on course to see if we were enjoying the course. Nice pub style restaurant with patio.

This cource is in good shape, greens, tee's and fairways are in good shape compared to other Calgary and area

Good 9 hole course, friendly staff, nice patio, greens were in good condition. Defiantly recommend doing 9. I did 18 and pace was much slower after 9

First time playing the course, felt as it was an average difficulty. For my capabilities and driver was not needed quite honestly, fairway food and hybrids were easily used off the tee, but challenged holes with a driver was fun. Rain delayed but cleared up nicely on my day, but caused a bit of congestion trying to put players back into the game. Everyone was friendly with the back-up and saw some just replay holes with no complaints, in fact spaced players out and made it run smoothly. Great course to challenge your short game, not saying its a short course but with a nice tee shot your short game is challenged nicely for practice. Had a fun day playing this course! No range though, just driving nets but for the value it was fine.

A good little 9 hole course in the town of Cochrane. Fast and easy with some challenges and good eats in the restaurant.

This is a fun little track that comes at a great value.
