Great course
I have played Cochrane several times over the years. We have been away for about 17 years it was great to come back and find it in the best condition ever. Very well maintained.
Cochrane rating
It was fun and not rushed so it was a good day. Pull carts were expensive to rent for 9 holes.
Perfect 9-hole course
I enjoyed my first round at Cochrane Golf Course. As a newbie to the game, this course provided the perfect balance of ease and difficulty to test my abilities. Easy layout and lush greens.
Slow Greens
Overall the course is fun to play at all levels, but when the greens are shaggy, it adds another dimension. Wish they could roll them firmer and cut them shorter.
Good value and still fun to play.
Unfortunately the course marshall harsly berated us for slowing play and the pro shop staff were rude and unfriendly. The course is nice and the day perfect but please use KINDNESS!!
Great price but I will never come back again
This was my partner and mine first time going to the course, we were on time but unfamiliar with the course. We were trying to be respectful to the group in front of us and give them space while we sat in our cart waiting for them to tee of. The marshal who sat in his spot the entire time was not having anything to do with us. We walked up to the 1st tee box and asked for our tee time, we shared 3:36. He baraed us for "not being on time" while he sat in his chair the entire time and watched us sitting respectfully during the same time the group in front of us tee-ed off. He continued to stare myself down as an Indigenous woman. I've felt this feeling before, and I will never go back here again. It was incredibly disrespectful. The marshal did get up to greet the next group of men behind us standing where our cart was parked to advise them that they are golfing with another 2 group
Good 9 hole
I liked this course. You can definitely walk it with no issues. The greens and fairways were in good condition. Some pin placements were tough. There are holes you can use your driver on with a good mix of short holes.
Good 9 hole course but pricey
The course is in good early season condition. Not too challenging, good pace of play. However, as the season progresses the price becomes a deterrent. Too much for 9 holes.
