Cochrane Golf Club

A perfect day on the golf course, the course is in great shape, good pace of play. Always a joy to play there.

My friend and I really enjoyed the course, it's well layed out and even though it's within a community we felt like the course feels open and friendly to play. No driving range but they had some nets to loosen up on. Only issue was argument over why a member was trying to kill a bird with their golf clubs. But even that didn't ruin the round.

First time out this year. Like this course for a quick nine that doesn't challenge an occasional golfer too stringently. Course is in great shape due in part I'm sure to the amount of rain we've had recently. Some of the staff were new to me and I found some of them a little grumpy, nothing too rude or anything just not as warm and friendly as I'm used too when playing golf.

This was our first time golfing at the Cochrane course this season. I was not impressed with one of the staff or he could have been the manager. Without so much as a hello he passed me off to another staff person. That person was nice enough & said have fun. The other guy looked at me like I didn’t belong on a golf course. Maybe a smile & hello would make you want to come back. There are lots of courses close by so….

Anyway the course is in great shape. Unfortunately it took 2 1/2 hours to play 9 holes.

Nice beautiful course tucked between the homes and valley.

Well kept course, a driving range would be great addition. There is a small practice range with a net so its just hitting balls and not watching the real distance it could travel.

My husband and I really enjoy this course! It has a great mix of different types of holes and makes use of the beautiful landscape that it’s set into. Would definitely recommend this course, it’s worth the drive out of the city and Cochrane is a lovely place to visit before or after a round as well.

This is nice little layout that has enough challenging holes mixed in to meet the needs of most weekend warriors. Nice mature trees and ample space between the holes and the houses makes it feel not too claustrophobic. Cochrane is close enough that it doesn’t feel like a full day trip to play 9 holes.

We had a wonderful day, such a nice walking course. We were paired up with the perfect twosome, very similar game to ours and extremely nice, polite and fun. Course is in good early season condition.
