Did the 18 holes in just over 4 hours

Amazing course, playing the back nine is an awesome experience

The front nine along the Red Deer River was reasonably easy, beautiful and fun. The back nine in the badlands was extremely challenging. The views were great, the course conditions were great but an A Game was needed to card a good score. Tough describes the back nine in a complimentary way. You should seriously consider a cart if you are going to do the badlands nine - lots of elevation changes. I'd come back in a heart beat and I will return. Pace of play depends on how good a golfer you are! The world class Tyrrell Dinosaur Museum is a must and is within a mile of the course - don't miss it!

The course was in excellent shape. The back nine is quite challenging! The front nine is in very good shape and offers some interesting water holes!

Good course. Worth the drive!! Would recommend to anyone. Playing the back 9 on the Badlands is an incredible & definitely rare experience!

Goolash or Beef: Goolash is the front nine and Beef is the back nine. A brand new Restaurant and both meals were incredible. But the back nine holes are not for the proud and proper. These holes will beat up the best and crush them. Bring your best golfer friend that beats you and they will be feeling like you when you were beat by them. Quiet serene and beautiful.

Course is in great shape. Front 9 is like other courses around Alberta but you better have a straight shot or lots of balls when you go through the tunnel to the back 9. Lots of narrow approaches and if you miss your shot to the side it will likely be long gone. Great course overall, I would love to do 18 on just the back nine.

Course was in good shape despite being next to where the dinosaurs roamed. Back nine was beautiful going through the hoodoos. Some target golf which is appreciated. Front nine has trees but fairly standard, some nice holes with water. Good challenge.

Back nine is target golf. Very scenic, but very tough. Didn't keep score on the back nine.

The front nine was traditional type course with large trees etc, the back nine had ravines and very much target golf. A must play a second time.

Always an enjoyable course to play but also more than a little frustrating when you're not hitting the ball well. Fairways on the back nine are built on plateaus for the most part and balls are frequently lost if you miss the fairway. No matter what though, don't miss a chance to play here as the course is very unique on the newer back nine.

What a course. Front 9 lush, green and not to difficult to play. With all the talk about the back 9 though we couldn't wait to get back there. All I can say is WOW! I have been to Drumheller many times and even remember exploring this area as a kid while visiting the museum. Well now it's a golf course and what a challenge it is. We, as most people probably do lost many balls back there but who cares. The challenge was worth it and the odd few shots that did make it across the coulee's made our day. The sun was shining and beverages were cold. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Be sure to check out GolfNow's Hot Deals before booking. Enjoyed the course. The back 9 is a challenging target golf but make sure it's a calm day. We were unfortunate to tackle this course on a 70km wind day and made it almost impossible. Scenic and if you like a challenge you will enjoy this course

Dinosaur Trail was a terrific time and a real challenge for target golf on the back.
Front nine..nicely maintained.pretty flat and no extreme hazards. Was wondering why I had bothered to take a cart.....
Then the back nine..wow...a cart is definitely needed and I'm extremely fit and generally always walk. Target golf at its best. Breathtaking views of the badlands. Loved the different elevations and blind shots..haha..ball retriever not long enough for the coulees. Tip.. Bring extra balls.. Looking forward to challenging myself again now that I've actually had a chance to play the back nine. I will certainly make different golf club selection. Make sure your 3 wood and hybrids are working for you. Really happy to see the friendly cart girl to drown my sorrows after a number of misplaced hits.

The front nine is a very simple layout but the back nine is very difficult.
It was great trip and good value.

If you like target golf this course is for you, if not, don't play it.

Course was in excellent condition. Front nine is flat, wide, and open-a great warmup for the back nine.
The back nine winds through the natural setting of the badlands and is a challenge for the best golfer.
I loved the course and highly recommend it. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

An easy front nine warms you up for the challenging back 9. If you can't stay on the fairway or play target golf on the back 9, good luck finding your ball.
