Sweet track
Easy forgiving front 9, then you hit the back 9....good luck!!!. What a test. Course is always great shape. Greens are a little slow. Wildlife, deer and foxes to entertain you. Course is usually not busy. Play at your leisure
Beautiful 18 holes
East front 9, the back nine...good luck!!! It's something else. Love this course
Nice course layout
The course has a nice layout. They have done alot of things right on this course. Played on my own and it was well marked. Nice fairways. Tee decks are good and they have it set up nicely for all levels of golfers. Staff was very friendly. Price was very good on golfnow. My only suggestion was on the greens, although they were nice, having worked on golf courses for 19 years, in my opinion they needed verticutting to thin them out to speed up the greens and not so spongey. I drove from Edmonton to play it and it was a bit of a drive but did enjoy my day there.
Wouldn’t go back
The fairways were hard and dry which is saying something since we’ve had rain in the area. Greens were lush but very slow. Layout for this course has always been a bit bizarre. Pace of play was a bit slow. Surprised how busy it was since it is literally in the middle of nowhere. Dont think I’ll go back.
Great value for a awesome course
Love playing This course try to get out once a year super friendly staff and a nice layout always enjoy it!!
Back for the 1st time this yr.
Course was in good shape for this time of the yr. Green's were lush but very SLOW compared to others in the area. Fairways were excellent but most Tee-boxes could use some maintenance to get them on Par with the rest of the course. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Front 9 plays alot easier then back 9. Good test of golf and will definitely get back for another round.
Always a blast
This 18 hole course is so much fun to play. It's challenging in many different aspects. Wildlife always present. Play at your own leisure as course is not busy during the week
Great hospitality
Played here a few times. Always enjoyed it. Yesterday was no exception although I was playing behind a tournament to which the few groups were very very slow and way behind the pace of play. Bill I believe his name was comp’d me a beverage and a free round of nine hole for my “bad” experience.
Love this course but on this day I encountered a team if 4 older men who were very unfriendly and we had to force them to let us play through. I was playing with one other golfer.
Once we got past them we came across a two someone eirh a toddler running around the green with a club in its hand. I called the office and was told that they allowed children on the course but they were supposed to let us play through. They refused to acknowledge us and then we had to listen to this crying kid for the last 3 holes. It ruined my golf time. Very disappointed in people and their self serving attitude.
Great course not so great golfers
The course was great. The front 9 was amazing. When we gif to the back 9 a group of three older men held us up and we gad to force them to let us play through. We then got a few holes snd encountered a two some with a toddler who was clearly under the age of 5 running around the green. We had to wait for them. When we were on a par 3 hole with them we asked to play through and they ignored us.
It made the last 9 holes completely unenjoyable . When we got ba to the club house around 330 no one with authority to speak to.
Get ready to rumble!
This is my childhood golf course, the place where we put our green fees in a wooden box on the honour system and played on sand greens that had to be redressed by the players after putting out. It’s come a long way from there, with a supposed easy front 9 and a challenging back. Few courses rival this layout. Be prepared to use every club in your bag. Get over the loss of a few golf balls quickly. Enjoy the ride in-spite of the potholes, speed bumps, ponds, trees, traps and ravines along the way.
goofy layout
Tiny greens that were really slow. Blind shots galore. Front nine was fairly easy. From back tees it's 2,800 yards approximately. Back nine is over 3,600 and includes a 600-yard par-5 that's ridiculously tight. No rakes in traps and they were not filled with white sand as advertised online. I won't be back.
The BEST way to end my Golf Season
Absolutely amazing warm day to close out the year. The course was in GREAT condition for October 19. Thank you for staying open after the Thanksgiving weekend. Had a Fabulous Game. ..... see you next year !
