Fine greens
Nanton is a good choice for a windy day The trees are tall and line every fairway on the front nine. Bent grass greens are kept in beautiful healthy condition with almost no Poa invasion.Still a little slow but no problem there. We felt we got very good value.
Great staff. A couple challenging holes
Early in the year. Course was a little choppy. Greens a little long. I really like the layout and it's good value for the money.
Nanton Experience
Nicely laid out course with overall forgiving fairways. Greens and fairways in good shape considering time of year. No goofy holes and for most holes a challenge to play. I will be back.
Out of town treasure
Nanton golf course is a gem with a mature front nine with lovely open fairways but plenty of challenge from the back tees
and a newer back nine keeping things interesting. The course was in excellent shape for an early season round. Definitely a favourite!

Nice course to play a few times a year. Not overly hard, but there are a few holes that test you.

Great pro shop and the course was in great shape for so early in the year.
Short Drive From Calgary
Four of us got a fantastic deal through Golf Now. It was only $13 each (cart included). Nanton is less than 30 minutes from Calgary. The course is in very good condition and the drive was totally worth it.
Worth the drive
We live in southeast Calgary so driving to Nanton is not a big deal. Closer than most courses outside our area. Course condition was excellent, carts were clean and powerful. Pace of play was good. We were there to enjoy the afternoon so we weren't in a hurry. Clubhouse food and drinks are very reasonable. Staff was friendly and service was great. If you want a good course not too far out of the city you should give Nanton a try. See for yourself. I think you'll enjoy it. Keep your head down:)).
