About
Sunnydale Golf & Country Club can trace its roots back to 1923 but the 18-hole course that exists today did not come to be until 1983 when a second nine was added. During its remodeling as an full-length layout, the greens were seeded, irrigation was improved on each hole, and hundreds of trees were planted. The golf course has matured nicely into a player-friendly layout that appeals to all skill levels. The layout features flat, tree-lined fairways and small greens that are sparsely but strategically bunkered. There are also some greens that are dome-shaped to watch out for. Water hazards come into play on several holes throughout Sunnydale Golf & Country Club. Between the ninth and 18th fairways there is a practice area golfers can use that features two putting greens.

The course was fantastic. The greens were super hard, staff was super friendly and they even opened the kitchen back up for us!

Observations
I played the course on a Golf Now Speciial. Accordingly, the course was good value for the price. The course is undergoing a mini transformation with par threes replacing a Pat 4.
The course is a bit erratic due to this.
The pro shop attendant was not very good at customer service. Left me standing waiting for 10 minutes while making small talk with someone else. Should have acknowledged me, at least, just out of courtesy.

Good value. Course in fair spring shape. Greens were excellent.
Good Challenge
We had a great day golfing at one of our favourite stops in the Comox Valley. This course is by far the best value for your golf dollar and the staff are great and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The course had some rain the day before we played but over all the fairways were firm the greens were also well cared for.
A solid course
Greens are in excellent condition. Nice fast round of just under three hours. Even with the heat and lack of rain, the course was in good shape overall. Great value with the hot deal.

booking needs help
it was a beautiful day nice course however i booked it early for 10 bucks hot deal right after that i told a friend about it he went to the site and there were three spots left
but the rate went from 10 to 35 with 3 spots left so he didn't play i went to the course and was the only one for that tee time 11:45 must be the computer program that causes that, so the course lost money a bird in the hand is worth more that 4 in the bush I've seen this more than once it needs work thanks

Great Course
Course is in way better shape then the spring. I have seen them doing improvements this summer to try and help Course condition in the spring. Will be back on our next set of holidays. One of my go to courses.
