Fairmont Hot Springs Resort - Mountainside
About
With the majestic Rockies serving as the backdrop, the Mountainside Course at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort features stunning panoramic views. The course tumbles across dramatic elevation changes and snakes through tall stands of spruce and fir. The winding fairways are lined with trees and bunkers are strategically placed throughout. The traditional layout provides stunning mountain and valley vistas from nearly every hole. The fourth hole is particularly notable both for its level of difficulty and the unrivaled views. The golf course has a fair amount of challenges but it is still approachable to beginners. The Mountainside is one of two 18-hole golf courses at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort. The other course, aptly named Riverside, runs along the Columbia River. There is also a par-3, nine-hole course available.

Great course overall
Good layout from all deck locations allowing all caliber players to be challenged. Beautiful scenery too. Will play again
The course is in great condition. Always enjoy playing here. Challenging greens.
Waste of time
Pace of play beyond ridiculous. No marshal to speed things up. Left the course after 17 holes, wish we would have left after 9.
Fairways are bumpy, greens were great.
No cart service despite course being at capacity.
Wcourse layout is gimmicky and laughable.
Don’t waste your time at this place.
Decent course overall, couple of tough greens due to approach and size, one really trick par 4 througha tight little gap in the terrain. Nothing fancy but fun course.
Not happy with golf course
We went to golf and on the first tee box they asked us to play best ball because they were busy. We requested a refund due to the fact that we felt we were being pushed and asking us to play best ball on our first hole was unacceptable. We were told to go over and play on the par three and that they would refund the difference which still has not happened. We would like a full refund due to the rudeness of the golf course.
Great course for price
Staff was very friendly. Check in was quick and easy.
Good Mountain Course
First Weekend of the year. After a little frost delay I had a beautiful round. Some bunkers were still in winter conditions/closed. But people want to go out. Guess the bunkers get fixed the next weeks. Nice holes to play, beautiful views.
Disappointing
This course needs a lot of work to bring it up to snuff. Many greens are so sloped that there aren't very many legal pin positions (i.e. ball rolls from being set in place by hole). 15 is probably one of the strangest hole designs I've ever seen. They also need to have some combo tees to give a better variety of course lengths. Also, not too sure how valid the slope rating is, Glad I played it but won't be back for a second time.
Great Vacation Course
For a course in vacation country it was very good. It is a very tight course with a lot of out of bounds so be careful with your first shot. The greens are very tricky but good. The only negative I had was that I would prefer the greens to be more defined with bunkers orsomethng
