We were able to play holes 3-18 as course was very wet. There were a lot of areas fenced off where you would have to walk in to get your ball but it was so wet and slimy mud you did not want to walk in there. Hopefully we get some drying weather
Great Fall Golf
A great course to play even in the last days of the season.
Will definitely play this course next golf season.
Here it is the middle of October and fall golf is here.
The fairways may have some leaves (which is to be expected) but the greens are in perfect condition. Book a round before they close for the season. Don't be surprised when you get on the greens . You better have a good eye .
coarse was in great shape overall, greens weren't fast but tricky.
Was just ok..
The pace of play was awful, couple bigger groups ahead of smaller groups wouldn’t allow the smaller groups to pass and every hole there was a min 10 min wait to tee off.. other than that the course is in decent shape, is a good layout to make it fairly challenging.. Just for the price that one pays it’s not entirely worth the drive from the city, you’re almost better off going an extra 20 mins to Sandy Hook pay less and make a day of it by going into Gimli afterwards… again, not bagging on the course itself just not completely worth the $ one pays…
Need to play
Green's are in great great shape considering the dry weather.
Be ready to be surprised by the greens.
Fairways are dry but watering is continuing to bring them back.
Very challenging course.
Book a time and play a round. I'm sure you will be talking to yourself by the end.
Great course to play. Ki
Got to Play
If you are looking for a different golfing experience you should try Netley Creek.Do to the hot weather the fairways are dry and somewhat brown You may think is not good news. just the opposite. Netley offer's scary challenging course. You need to keep your ball straight and an eye on it. This course demands that the golfer is always thinking about what club your going to use next.Make sure you have them all, you'll need them. Fairways are long and short, Greens are in great, great shape and keep you talking to yourself for 18 holes. The second and third cut rough will make you a better golfer.Course layout is changing all the time. This course needs to be playef you'll find out how good you really are. Book a round and see what kind of a golfer you really are.
Green's are in great shape considering the lack of rain in the area.
Course is very challenging and makes you want to go back. You will use all the club's in your bag if you play this course.
Will be booking again soon.
Tricky course fun
Really enjoyed our round. Been about 7 years ago since playing. Narrow fairways even harder in wind. Will have to get back and try to do a bit better. Haha
Netley Creek GC is located about 20 minutes north of Winnipeg, the capital city. It is a natural, rural environment with beautiful prairie landscapes and a clear creek flowing throughout the course. You get caught up in the scenery that you forget you're playing golf.. lol. Yummy sammiches after 9 holes. I can't wait to try Friday Rib Night.. popular and tasty I'm told. Should add that they are expanding the number of seasonal and nightly RV sites.. this is a terrific play if you're in the area!
A Great Day!
Netley Creek GC is located about 20 minutes north of Winnipeg, the capital city. It is a rural environment, with lots of beautiful prairie landscapes and of the creek that winds throughout the course. There is so much nature to take in that you forget that you're there to golf... Yummy homemade sammies after the 9th. I hear Friday Rib Night is popular and tasty. I must add that they are expanding their services to offer seasonal and nightly RV use. We will continue to support this natural gem!
