John Blumberg Golf Course - 18-hole Regulation

Compared to other courses in Winnipeg it's cheaper. Fairway on certain spots could be better. One of the greens had a lot of Geese droppings. Some holes did not have a picture of the hole lay out. It's very helpful to have for beginners. Could have more outhouses on the course. A lot of the course is in the open area, with no trees. Could be very hot with no shade. Great for beginners and for folks who want to save money.

I enjoyed my time there. there wasn't too many people and I like it as it was my first time playing golf. I didn't feel rushed at all.

No beer maids, rough greens, horrible carts, friendly staff though! Fairways are ROUGH AF even the greens are quite messy and not well done or maintained

Course was in quite rough condition. Greens were not patched nice, Bunkers aren’t sand it’s more like a hard dirt.

Cart paths were absolutely horrid, while driving the fairways there very Mogul”ley lol. I realize that’s not a word but it was pretty poor, not to mention the carts then selves sweet Jesus they’re old, chugg, stall, crack, bang/backfire very very rough carts for such a high rated course.

We were done in just over 4 hours.

Was not bad we did not have a whole lot of waiting for each hole.

Several holes are wide-open, making this course fun to hit your driver. Most of the holes are not protected from the wind, so you can easily find your ball sailing away from your target if you have too much spin on it. This is a very popular course and around it, you can see the 9-hole course, which is also fun to play. If you're a beginner, this course has plenty of wide fairways. Of course, it also has some holes where your chances of hitting the fairway with the driver are slim unless you typically hit it straight. Opt for a 3-wood on some holes.
