Kildonan Park Golf Course

I enjoy the layout, I am close to 80 years old and want to walk the course I'm playing so the length of the course works really well for me.

There is some riff-raff making 20-30 yrd clunks on every shot that can slow the course down. But as long as you don't have them in front of you, it's very enjoyable.

This is s short course that is sufficiently challenging for the average golfer.

Given that it was this early in the season and my first game this year I was impressed by the condition of greens and fairways.

The course opened in 1921, making it the oldest muni course in Winnipeg. It doesn't play long and you can shoot about ten strokes lower here than at most average courses. Despite the shortness, there are some challenging holes where accuracy is a must. It's easy to bogey the longer par 3s. The course has some elevation changes that you wouldn't expect, making the course more attractive than a flat course. If I shoot higher than 85, I feel disappointed. $36 for adults; $27 60 and older.
