Horrible.
Do not waste your time or money. Played three holes today. Tee boxes were weed filled and unkempt, fairways were dry, brown and rock hard, bunkers looked like construction sites and were filled with weeds. #5 green was nice, I’m assuming because it’s nearest the clubhouse. Oh yes and the pile of vomit at the #2 tee box was especially inviting. The people that were playing were taking over 20 mins per hole and just screwing around. The person in the pro shop somehow thought this was all normal and ‘luck of the draw’ he said. I told him we only completed 3 holes before immense frustration set in and zero effort on his part to make it right by offering even a partial refund. This cost me $40 for three holes. It’s a field. Do NOT waste your time, even in a pinch and you want to play a quick, convenient round. Look elsewhere. You’ve been warned. Don’t say I didn’t tell you so.
Worst golf course in Manitoba- and it’s not even close
Clubhouse stinks, staff can’t even pretend to hide the fact the course is in shambles.
Power carts are run down, damaged, in disrepair and look to be about 40 years old. And they perform as they look.
“Tee boxes” are little more than a couple markers on an uneven, weed infested mud strip.
“Fairways” are weed infested, with washboard moguls and standing water and all in need of a mow. Dead trees litter the course and the trees that are alive are in need of pruning.
“Green” are embarrassing- dead patches, holes, roots, sand patches, and holes that appear to have never been moved. Ball marks litter the putting surface, as customers must feel that nobody has enough pride to maintain the greens, so why should they.
Overall, this place is a joke! It’s apparent that the ownership and management of this course have thrown in the towel and have decided to abandon any and all general maintenance. They seemingly have no respect for paying customers and It’s obvious that there’s no intention to repair and maintain this property, and it’s a shame because this could be a Diamond in the rough.
Loved playing this course! Staff was very friendly and the layout was nice. one hole was even beside the river! fairways for well groomed.
Terrible condition
This little 9 hole course is located in the south end of Winnipeg which is really convenient however the greens and fairways are in terrible condition. Dead grass/holes on the greens, terrible mowing job on the fairway and very minimum mowing. It is really too bad, love the location and the lay out and that it is not too long.
