Tarandowah Golfers Club
About
Tarandowah Golfers Club has a unique layout that closely resembles traditional Scottish links golf courses. There are undulating greens and sloped fairways that are made up of bentgrass and wispy fescue. Although there are no water hazards, Tarandowah Golfers Club boasts more than 100 deep, sod-faced bunkers that prove to be just as challenging if not more. Strong winds blow through the golf course, a factor that will affect your game if not careful. Tarandowah Golfers Club has several tricky uphill par 4s, but its longest and one of its more challenging holes is the par-5 14th, which stretches to 588 yards.

Beautiful links
This course is a great layout of narrow fairways and amazing bunkers. Well kept up grounds. You have to be on top of your game on this course. It ate us all up but loved playing it. All the staff was friendly and helpful.
Links style with a challenge
Hidden gem of a course. Great staff and friendly. Worth every penny. Course was in amazing condition, greens were rolling fast. Course will challenge you make good shot decision's and shot placement . Fairway is always your friend but here it really really is. The fescue will punish you or eat your ball. Can’t wait to come back and play it again. The sausages/hotdogs at the halfway hut were freshly cooked on the BBQ!!
A True Challenge - Great Course
This course will make you love or hate golf. The course is awesome, country club fast greens, 400+yrd par 4’s, 550+ yrd par 5’s and plenty of obstacles. Every shot is a new and unique challenge given the large amount of undulations on the fairways, rough and even the greens. The bunkers are all pot bunkers and sit perfectly in your line. The design of the course makes every shot seem far or close so definitely bring a range finder - you’ll be surprised with how wrong your yardage guess was lol. Would come back here 10/10 amazing course. Shocked that it isn't private.
Awesome. But hard!!!
Third time around this track, a slightly windy day can make it very tough out in these links. Deep pot bunkers and uneven fairway lies create a very unique challenge compared to most courses in southern Ontario. At this price point its a must play. I hope they upgrade their pro shop/19th hole area in the future but does not take away from the beauty of this course.
Phenomenal Course!
This is one of Canada's best courses, and still somehow one of the best kept secrets in many ways. The rates are phenomenal, the course is always in great condition, and it takes you away to another place and time. The pace of play is always great. I've never had to wait a prolonged period for any hole, even on a weekend and with a full course. It's a great layout that is sure to challenge any level of golfer.
winter golf
We had a good time since its our second time out this year,Friendly staff but the weather and course condition wasnt the greatest abd hey its march golf lol,we didnt have big expectation,The ground was stil wet to walk on most of the holes but we will be back in the future😂😁
March golf
This course is always a must play. One of the nicest,if not the nicest links style courses in Ontario. To play in March is a bonus. The course was dry. Greens were a little bumpy, but hey, it's March 3rd. The greens here in the summertime are fantastic. It's a bit of a drive from Kitchener, but it's worth it. I play here at least 5-10 times a season. Not much for a clubhouse with all the extras, but it's the golf I come here for. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. Great shot value here.
Winter golf
For playing on March 2nd the greens and course were in excellent shape. Love the course and layout.
If you want a true links experience this is it! Never disappoints.
