Heritage Hills Golf Club
About
Heritage Hills Golf Club, conveniently located just minutes from downtown Barrie, has an interesting layout that features a combination of wide open, links-style holes and holes framed by mature forest. Although there are numerous strategically placed bunkers and swales, there are also generous landing areas that make it accessible to players of all skill levels. Willow Creek winds through the hilly landscape, offering beautiful scenery. Heritage Hills Golf Club’s greens are large and undulating, and there is the occasional double-tiered green. Although there is only one distinct water hazard, which is on the 12th, the course requires many demanding carries over the creek. Heritage Hills also offers a grass range with target greens and a practice putting green for golfers to use.

Nice fairways and greens with some challenging holes
Nice fairways and greens with some challenging holes, we enjoy the day with some decent golf and a course that has everything. Thankfully the greens were well groomed here.
Great value but
Course is a very good layout..greens were great and rolling fast..,fairways were firm and appeared to need water
One group held up play
No real complaints except the course needs a proper marshal. One group held up play for 3 others for the last 10 holes. On hole 11 (par 3) they were on the green while two groups were waiting at the tee deck and another were finishing on the 10th green. There were multiple holes open in front of them. We called the clubhouse and they sent someone out who "spoke to them" on hole 12 (he looked at frustrated as we were). This had no impact as they continued to look for balls in the rough and chit chat on the fairway rather than play their ball. I'll never understand the ignorance and stupidity of some people.
Beautiful course layout
Loved this course layout...the fescue got me a couple times, but otherwise a nice course full of elevated tees, elevated greens, undulating rough and nice fairways...14, 15, 16 suck during twilight play though as the sun was blistering directly in your eyes...adds to the challenge I guess...keep the ball straight and it isn't a problem.
Heritage Hills
Very good course and in great shape. Very challenging in all aspects. Greens were a wee challenge as speed was hard to gauge with the graininess from the sand laid.
For the price of green fees though very good value.
Good golf
The course was good a little dry in places.
Greens fast and challenging.
Pace of play slow.
My opinion golfers need to play from Tees according to their driving distance, and know there shot distance, rather wait for a green or fairway to clear.
Over 4 1/2hours for 18 holes not fun
