About
Heritage Hills Golf Club, conveniently located just minutes from downtown Barrie, has an interesting layout that features a combination of wide open, links-style holes and holes framed by mature forest. Although there are numerous strategically placed bunkers and swales, there are also generous landing areas that make it accessible to players of all skill levels. Willow Creek winds through the hilly landscape, offering beautiful scenery. Heritage Hills Golf Club’s greens are large and undulating, and there is the occasional double-tiered green. Although there is only one distinct water hazard, which is on the 12th, the course requires many demanding carries over the creek. Heritage Hills also offers a grass range with target greens and a practice putting green for golfers to use.

Good golf
The course was good a little dry in places.
Greens fast and challenging.
Pace of play slow.
My opinion golfers need to play from Tees according to their driving distance, and know there shot distance, rather wait for a green or fairway to clear.
Over 4 1/2hours for 18 holes not fun
You get what you pay for
If you want a cheap round of golf, this is the place, BUT you get what you pay for. The clientele and golf etiquette left something to be desired. The bunkers were hard and messy, the grass was in passable condition and the tee boxes and greens were… well they were there. If you are just going for reasonably priced beer and an afternoon out, this is a great spot to go, but if you take your round a bit more seriously then you may want to spend a little more to go to one of the nicer courses nearby.
Great course and pace of play
Heritage Hills is a fantastic local course for the money you pay. Well laid out and always great pace of play even when packed.
Heritage GC
Great track, great value but rain and poor drainage makes it really wet.
Make sure the wind is down when you play, back 9 can be a challenge.
Nice course, one of Muylaert's final designs. 2 distinctive 9s, one in the low area surrounded by trees the other wide open links style. Can be very challenging when the winds pick up. Sadly, they have never built a true clubhouse but I'm sure if they did the prices would go up dramatically.
