Heritage Hills Golf Club
About
Heritage Hills Golf Club, conveniently located just minutes from downtown Barrie, has an interesting layout that features a combination of wide open, links-style holes and holes framed by mature forest. Although there are numerous strategically placed bunkers and swales, there are also generous landing areas that make it accessible to players of all skill levels. Willow Creek winds through the hilly landscape, offering beautiful scenery. Heritage Hills Golf Club’s greens are large and undulating, and there is the occasional double-tiered green. Although there is only one distinct water hazard, which is on the 12th, the course requires many demanding carries over the creek. Heritage Hills also offers a grass range with target greens and a practice putting green for golfers to use.

Fun
We really had a great day. Course just as tough as u remember. I haven’t played it in 6+ years.
In great shape. Staff super friendly from check in to starter. We didn’t stay for a drink after the round so I can’t comment on the waitress or food.
Will definitely play again; soon
Fescue
If you kick more than 2 feet off the fairway, it's very tough to find a ball. Myself I lost 2 $5 balls , which very seldom happens. Are foursome finished in 4 hrs. Pretty good time for this course. B4 halfway point we're asked by the Marshall to pick up the pace and not look for balls! Sorry about the 3 cranky old men behind us that wanted to set a course record! We drive from the city 3 to four times per year because we love this course! Especially this year as we lost 1 of our foursome last year and playing in his honor! We all golf between 82 to 92 onthis track and are very cognizant of the rules of play! Paul A
Well constructed
Greens are a challenge and there are enough bunkers around the greens as well to stay away..
Nicely laid out and scenic as well. A fun spot to golf.
Not as good as it used to be.
I had not played here for about three or four years, or the duration of COVID pretty much. I understand that the club may have changed ownership and if so, it is quite obvious. This course used to be an absolute treasure. It was a bit rough and tumble last weekend. I hit the bunker off of the 7th tee at the dogleg and there was rocks and vegetation coming through. I have hit that bunker MAY times off the tee. Never saw that before. Always was the complete opposite. I guess that is what 50 bux gets you now.
Except for 1 muddy fairway, The course was great
A little challenging, but a pleasant experience. I'd play this course again.
A bit wet
$62 on golf now with a cart. Got off early. Greens held nicely due to wet conditions. Fairways extremely short. And very wet.
Like this course plays well to my game. Will come back when a bit dryer.
Great value for $$
Just a little soggy on a few holes. Left over winter and spring melt and run-off water
Good day for it. A little on the cool side but descent for Barrie (north of Toronto). Just too bad that hot deals are hard to come by on the weekends in the Toronto area. Only found 1 last year and this one but we had to travel 1 hour and 15 mins to get this one. I've played in other cities and Toronto is the only one I know where in the last two years, the hot deals are extremely infrequent on weekends. Compared with Miami there is not only one to be found on the weekend, there are always about a dozen within 20 miles. Chicago is similar. I would not any longer recommend Golfpass to Canadians living in or around the greater Toronto Area (GTA).
