About
Bay of Quinte Golf & Country Club in Belleville is a parkland course that sprawls across rolling hills. The lush landscape is covered in trees, mosses, ferns, and grasses. The front nine was designed in 1921 and the back nine was added 30 years later making it a full-length championship golf course. The layout features fairly large greens that are fast and undulating and there are narrow fairways, some of which are lined with trees. Water hazards come into play on five holes and there are white sand bunkers throughout the golf course. Bay of Quinte Golf & Country Club's signature hole is the par-4 15th, which features an elevated tee that plays to a well protected green that is surrounded by a tree, bunkers to the left, and mounding to the back and sides. Great value
We were paired with two others by the starter. We moved along at an easy pace ( started at 2:30 on a Wed.)
Greens, fairways, and tee boxes all in good shape. An enjoyable outing.
Nice challange, with traditional layout and tough greens.
This is a great course, with moderate length and greens that require consistent attention to every read. Greens were fast with a lot of minor breaks. Just enough water, sand and rough to keep it interesting but not too much to take the fun out of the outing.

Good challenge
Good challenge for any player. Greens are in excellent condition and will test you - they don't appear difficult until you lag a putt 5 feet past the cup. Fairways narrow enough to challenge your driving skill. Be careful on 250 yard 13th - a layup requires an accurate shot to stay in play. Don't much like the change they made to #18 - used to be a dogleg par 4 , now a short par 3
A Day of Golf and Waiting
Course was in good condition and employees were friendly, the starter was exceptionally nice. What made our round less than enjoyable was the fact that there was a slow foursome in front of us on the front 9 who did not wave us through. Due to heavy rain we decided to quit after the front 9 (which took over 3 hours to play due to slow play) but did not ask for a rain check as there was not an employee present in the proshop when we left. It was surprising that there was not a course Marshall to speed up the play during our round as this is usually the case on most comparable golf courses. We were a twosome in a cart therefore the round should have taken between 3-4 hours.

Wet conditions made it hard to play some holes
Well maintained course, pretty plain layout
This was a good course, most of the holes were pretty similar and not the most exciting. Lots of straight, flat par fours. Drainage of the course appeared to be pretty poor as the course was very wet when I played it. Also carts were not allowed on that day specifically due to the wet conditions. Overall the course was a little better than average and I would play it again, although probably not at full price.
