Bay of Quinte Country Club
About
Bay of Quinte Golf & Country Club in Belleville is a parkland course that sprawls across rolling hills. The lush landscape is covered in trees, mosses, ferns, and grasses. The front nine was designed in 1921 and the back nine was added 30 years later making it a full-length championship golf course. The layout features fairly large greens that are fast and undulating and there are narrow fairways, some of which are lined with trees. Water hazards come into play on five holes and there are white sand bunkers throughout the golf course. Bay of Quinte Golf & Country Club's signature hole is the par-4 15th, which features an elevated tee that plays to a well protected green that is surrounded by a tree, bunkers to the left, and mounding to the back and sides. The hole also offers a stunning view of Quinte Bay

Reviews
Great old course!
Classic old course. The old rap on this course was straight and boring. New owners have changed some tee boxes to help with that and it has worked. New bunkers off tee shots have challenged the boring rap. Conditions were perfect with excellent (sometimes new) tee boxes and fast greens. They have shyed away from tournaments which meant conditions have been great all year. If you choose to hit from appropriate tees (5 options) you can make it relaxing and shortish or challenging from the tips. Some walks between holes are long and driving range has been changed into a new parking lot for a new pro shop which will make the walk from your car to the first tee much nicer next year. Couple this course with a round at Black Bear Ridge and/or Trillium Wood and you will never be disappointed as all three courses are excellent. The locals are spoiled!
fantastic condition
For this time of year this course is in excellent conditio. Fairways are perfect, ballsits right up, greens are smooth and fast. Maitainance crews working all over, its almost like they were picking up leaves as they fell.
Course layout for all golfer skill level
Considering it was late season, greens were in good condition with the exception of 2.
Course is ok nothing to write home about would be good value at $40.00 cart included.
Nice greens, average fairways staff is great course is over priced for what you get. 5 to 6 hr rounds is not acceptable.
Good deal
Played on Sunday, Pace of play was slooow, we had to wait before almost every shot. Course is in good candition with a few water hazards but overall mostly straight forward. Overall a good outing.
very nice course
Was a pleasure to play at B O Q course was challenging and keeps you thinking
Poor shape, terrible service
Got a great deal, so I had to play it for the first time. Was considering it for a membership for 2014. Confusing where to go to pro shop. Gentleman in pro shop acted as though he didn't care to be there. Tee boxes were all dirt, could barely tell difference between fairway and rough. Greens were very bumpy and extremely slow. Twosomes following twosomes after a single player, no on course marshal or starter. Played front 9 in just under 3 hours, everyone in front must have gone home because back 9 was wide open and played in ~1.5 hours. Will get my membership at Trillium, it is 100 times better.
If you see a deal on GolfNow, grab it!
Wide fairways with 1st cut of rough maintained, reduces lost balls and speeds up play. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Great value.
Good course run by good people for a good price.....What more can you ask?
Great old course.
Bay of Quinte is a fine old course with a history of hosting top amateur events. It is a challenge from the tips, but provides an enjoyable, playable test if you choose the tees to fit your game. There is plenty of room off the tee and the greens are excellent most of the time. They were not as quick and a little bumpy from lots of play as I played late in the day. I'd highly recommend this course to anyone who happens to find themselves in the area. Played for $15.00!
DISSAPOINTED
Tee off blocks were all dirt.
Driving Range was closed
Staff was horrible. No personality very gruff.
All the rough was clover no grass.
Very disappointed.
Very good value with hot deal!
Played this course for the first time and liked the track. The course didn't play long but the greens were tricky and fast. The course was soft due to the recent rain but overall a great value and I would definitely play here again.
straight forward tree lined fairways
my son who is a casual player and I very much enjoyed playing this course
Great Day
first time i played, it was a tight course but fun, lots of water and sand
I love the layout of the course
A very pretty course and well maintained. The greens are big and in very good shape.
course is fair. carts are great
Course is nice starts on par 5 so break out the driver. Laid out nice, fair for both hands left and right. Carts are great equipped wth club and ball cleaner, and cooler. Good stuff.
Well worth playing at the right price
Nicely maintained, a decent challenge. Flat with modest elevation changes. Gravel cart paths in places raise dust when following others. Pace of play picked up on back nine, otherwise would have been a half hour longer.
Busy
Nice course. Staff were friendly enough. We visited in the afternoon on a Wednesday and found it quite busy.
