Best Greens in Eastern Ontario
Played this course in the afternoon, overall course was in great condition, some of the best greens I have played this year. Only con is tee boxes were so narrow that some tees were not great to use based on divots and course set-up.
Play Smart
Great Course, make your shots with strategy. First time players on the course pay attention of fairway layout and hidden hazards. Review doglegs for ball placement. Check out layout before making your shot. Some of the cart paths could use some maintenance and a few markers to tell you where to go to the next tee. Number two hole (cardiac hill) I think!!!! make sure you know the hole location, because there is a two tier green and very large, knowing where is to your advantage.Enjoy , I did. Wolf
A Real Gem!
The course was in great shape. It has many elevation changes and each hole is a unique playing experience. It is a little off the beaten track, but if you can get a good price it justifies the drive to get there. Also, the food is very good, and reasonably priced for a golf course.
Great layout
Even though the day was cold and extremely windy, I loved this course. The course was in excellent condition - greens, fairways, bunkers and tee blocks.
This course provides the golfer with a wide mix of challenging holes. Shot planning and placement is a must to score well. Analyze hole to determine best side of fairway for your approach to the green. The greens typically slope back to front - shot placement is key to reduce difficulty of putt.
Thoroughly enjoyed the day and the course - will definitely be back.

Best old course around
This old course is a true test of your skill.
Roll the ball if you are not in a match as the rough makes you focus on hitting the fairway or green.
Don't let the short yardage fool you, this is a real golf track. It's not wide open like some public courses , take a shorter club and hit the fairway.
Conditions are perfect this week.
I am playing trillium wood this week but look forward to coming back to the bcc.
O ya, awesome range and short game that is included.
I hate going to places and they charge you 8$ for a small bucket.
Bogey
The course is beautiful...greens are slow and need some work. We had a 427 tee time, a twosome jumped in and took our spot. We waited on every hole 2.5 hour front 9. Back was more of the same and then the golf cart ran out of gas at the farthest spot from the clubhouse. No time to finish round.
Brockville Sure Is Part of Top Four Among Courses Between Toronto and Montreal
This late April game was very enjoyable thanks to two local members, Ted and Bruce. Their tips were most useful with the many elevation changes and the various dog legs. The water hazards you find at most par-3s simply add to the beautiful scenery. It is an ideal layout for those in the 50 and above category. Both fairways and greens were in very good condition overall. I look forward to my next game there as the weather gets warmer!
Exceptional Golf Course
This is one of the nicest golf courses in Eastern Ontario. Fantastic scenery combined with a great layout and superb conditions. Staff was beyond friendly and extremely accommodating. There are significant elevation changes and some very challenging holes, particularly the par 3s. This would be a tough golf course to walk.
Brockville Country Club
WE played the course in October, conditions were excellent. Beautiful course. Lots of great colourful scenery. I would recommend this course to average to experienced golfers. It would be very challenging for a beginner golfer.
Hidden gem near the St. Lawrence
The Brockville Country Club is one of the best courses in Eastern Ontario. The course offers challenges from four sets of tees. The fairways are in great shape and the greens putt true and fast. If at all possible, keep your approach shots into the green below the flag. The par threes offer testy shots. Even the one short par three makes you worry about bunkers and the nearby highway. You can score well if you hit straight tee shots but you will find it tough if you scramble from the rough and trees all round. I find the back nine tougher to score on and it has four challenging final holes. There are yardage markers in the fairways and they are pretty accurate. The 13th green is large and can be three clubs different, depending on the pin placement. The No. 17 par three plays downhill, so play two clubs less. In the afternoons on the weekend, the place is almost deserted and you can fly around the course. It looks flat from the first tee but take a cart to navigate the hills if you have an issue with walking. It's not an easy walk. It's a challenging course to play and you can expect to shoot above your handicap.
