SummerHeights Golf Links - South Course

Very nice course. We played the South course and found it to be in very good condition. Tee boxes were nicely maintained clean and leveled. Fairways were for the most part wide open and very green. A couple were narrow and a couple with a blind tee shot. The green's were in very good shape and very challenging with a lot of tough slopes and greens that you really have to read. Staff were nice and would recommend the course. If I didn't live an hour and 20 minutes away I would play it often. Will be back to try the other course on a day I can get 2 rounds in.

This course is the best for the buck around. The south course offers a good length and fairways that demand good accuracy on the first shot to get a chance for the second shot. I recommend for intermediate to advance players but still ok for beginners. The course offers a great combination of straight, dog left, dog right with some elevation holes. Quality all around very neat. I played the course easily under 4 hours.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant offers a great layout and terrace overlooking the course. The food is very tasty and fulfilling.
The course has a special 30$ Thursdays so definitely worth it.

Well maintained course! Greens are nice but challenging!

It was the first time I played Summerheights in almost 10 years! I used to play that course on a regular basis and always loved it!
We played the south course (the original course.) We can appreciate the well groomed & soft fairways despite the dry spell our region is going through at this time! The greens were rolling extremely well the tee boxes were in very good shape! My only issue was with some sand bunkers, that would need some work. They need to be refilled with more sand to soften them up. Still, this is a very nice course, the staff is extremely friendly and even though there was no drinking water station on the course someone would come by once in a while with a water cooler to refill our water bottles. The beverage cart was also extremely active despite a very quiet day on the course. It was a very pleasant round of golf even though it was 33 C outside. Thanks to the mature trees that are lining the course from start to end it was easy to shade ourselves from the sun once in a while!

Always love this course , but this year it's in great shape.

Have played this course since I was 10. Will always be my home course. Would recommend to anyone.

We (2) booked south course and were joined by 2 other golfers, one of which I knew. As there was a tournament ahead of us, starter moved us over to the west course, which was where we really wanted to play and we were able to tee off early and had a great round.

Although I booked for the south course. It is closed every Monday for their junior program. So I had no choice to play the west. If i knew this I would have booked it and saved some money and also would have received a cart for the same price. This is my only complaint. So I lost a bit of value...

Overall the place is a great place to take family and friends to play golf. The course is well-maintained and finally staff on hand I love playing there. A+

Timing is every thing and this round of golf could not have been better planned. From signing up with golf now.com and actually showing up for my 1420 reservation was as easy as pie.if your looking to book your next tee time this is the place golf now.com and enjoy your round and they might even throw in a 63per cent savings. Believe it its that good.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Course was in good shape after heavy rains. Rough was thick but we shouldn't be there. Greens ran fast and true. Now on my To Play list.

This was the first time playing after a recommendation. Course was in excellent condition and the pace of play was perfect. All staff were very welcoming.

Will definitely be returning to play again

Enjoyed it very much, unfortunately overseeing at the time, but the staff was very accommodating.Slight delay.

Course was quite wet in spots and grass was too long in some of the tee boxes. Green conditions were good.

I've played the course several times. This particular day the course was extremely wet from 2 inches of rain and was cart path only. Play was a little slow because of this but over all the course is generally in great shape. The fairways and trees are decent. The rough is a little too long but this could be due to all the rain this year. Great value for the money and staff and food are top notch.

I enjoyed my day. I couldn't play the 18th hole because the junior classes were there.

Heavy rain for several days had the course saturated on some holes. Greens were in good shape.

Green fees were afordable, very good condition, but a bit soft due to high rain fall in the previous days. Very courtious staff
