ball plugged. on every fairway and on greens. this was my second time and the playing conditions were wet. not sure if its poor drainage or what.
Good value for money
Great twilight rates, especially for people just learning to play. If it weren't for their twilight rates, I wouldn't be able to afford to practice as often as I need to in order to keep improving, and I probably would have quit the game a long time ago.
Only complaint is how long and thick the rough is. You spend a lot of time trying to find your ball, even if it's just off the fairway.
Finnaly cut their fairways shorter!!
Played here all my life. I know the course. The fairways are way better than past years because they're shorter. The greens are also supposed to get cut shorter and that would be awesome. Play this course in July if possible greens should be smooth and shorter by then. Read my quick tips for which course to play. Cheers.

Loved the south course. Better than the west course.
I loved the south course at Summerheights. I have played the west course before and the south course is more interesting. The greens are in better shape and the overall layout is better.
Played the west course since the south was being aerated.
I ended up playing the west course since the back 9 on the south course was closed. The course was in good shape considering that it's very late in the season. I had played this course back in April and it was in better shape this time. Even if the greens had been aerated, they were in good shape and very playable. I enjoyed my round and was able to complete it in 2.5 hours.
Its has 36 holes nice to have a choice.
I would defenatletly go back.The white tees are very good for your once a week golfers.

Novice golfer, beautiful maintained golf course, friendly
The courareas.se is fairly straight with pretty wide landing areas.
The course needs to be mowed more often. Fairways are cut long, reducing roll. Distances seem to be longer than stated,especially on the par 3's. I would go back, but only using Golf Now and paying less than the normal rate.
A course to play over and and over again
This course was challenging with its terrain and most of all their greens, putting was a big challenge here. Their landscape was well maintained and so were the greens, very fast. Their are some holes that will get you into trouble if you don't pay attention but all and all you will have a good game and walk away satisfied with your round. I will be returning in the near future to give this course another try. My round there was pleasant and satisfying, from the course to all the friendly people who are staffed there, very accommodating and service with a smile. South course is in better shape then the west as far as the greens go, but i will tell you about the west course in my review of the west. Have a nice round.
Staff ruin the course
I have golfed here several times using GolfNow. as soon as you walk in and state that you have a GolfNow tee time, you are treated like a second class citizen. As if this isnt enough, upon speaking with the "starter" you find out that although you booked a tee time form 2, you will be forced to play with another random two-some.
Staff are very rude and demonstrate no customer service skill whatsoever. Great deal for golf, but not worth the poor treatment. I will never play at this place again, nor will my golf buddies.
Greens were in awful shape, no watering evidence, shaggy.
Lucky this was booked at a discount. Shameful conditions. How this course could be dried out with so much rain this summer is embarrassing.
Very good golf day
Fairways and greens were in great shape. Not very many people on the course, only had small delays on last 3 holes. Would strongly recommend this course to anyone who enjoys golf.
Very nice course with friendly staff
This was our first time at this course. The staff was very cordial and friendly. The course itself was very green for this time of year and their greens were especially well-maintained. It was well worth the 1 Hour Dr. to play here and we will be playing here again several times this season.
Wonderful experience: definitely will go back again and again
We arrived early because we didn't know how long it would take us to get there.
The course was not busy so we were allowed to start before our scheduled tee time.
The starter gave us a brief history of the course since they are celebrating their 50th anniversary. Very interesting...
Everyone was super friendly and helpful on this mature picturesque course.
We had an excellent price and the service was excelent. Not busy at all.
When we arrive the service was excellent, very patient and offer us to leave earlier as soon we would be ready. The course was in good shape for this period of the year. We met very sociable people and we had great time . Members seem to know perfectly the golf etiquette. They let us pass because they were four and we were only two. Strongly recommend this course.
All golfnow reservations are sold as a foursome, some courses are kind enough to not force you to play together but most would prefer you play as a foursome. Doesn't matter if 4 complete strangers book the same tee time. Its not just Summerheights that does this.
