Amazing hidden gem
The course is challenging. There is more sand then a the Sahara lol … I mean it in a good way. There are sand traps guarding the greens and where you land on the fairway. Don’t try to be a hero here … use course management. The quality of the Tee off, fairways and the green slopes are very good. Of course greens are being aerated this time of the year … totally understandable. The Marshall made a point to know my name and introduce me to the other players by first name. It’s a nine hole, but play off different tees and it feels like a different course. Example the 9th and 8th holes. I’ll be trying g to get a 9 in a few more times before the end of season,
Perfect round
Can't complain about anything. From course conditions to pace, to weather - all perfect. I'm recommending this gem of a course to all.
Great Value and Great Time
My wife is a new golfer and I’ve been playing for 40+ years. We can both enjoy a round and have been matched up with only enjoyable golfers. We enjoy our round pick up some food in Erin and head home, the day is good!! I aggressively recommend this track to other friends.
When I looked up the course to book a tee time I was directed to a Golf Now site instead of a Golf North site. That ended up costing me $20+ . They need to clean this up. Players/Customers should be treated with respect and given the best rate available. I’ll watch out for the proper site but they both use GN as their logo. I mentioned this at the pro shop and got the ooops response, but they were aware of this. Fix this problem!!
Calerin
I played 3 holes and got rained out. Nice course hope to play all nine soon. Was unable to get a reign check because I missed the staff at the end when I walked back in the rain.
My favourite course!!!
I played quite a bit of golf this past summer, once a week was more than normal for me. I tried playing a different course each time I went out, a few 18's, but mostly 9 holes. Calerin was on my list to get to and I ended up playing there 4 times, the last was yesterday Nov. 12th, which was also the last day they were open. I love this course, not too long for my game and definitely not short. The fairways and greens are always in excellent condition, while not being flat and boring. There are elevation changes throughout the round which kept it challenging, and plenty of well place bunkers to work on your sand game. Calerin will be my first round next season, can't wait.
Nice course
Great little course.. Tee box, Fairways,Rough and especially Greens in absolutely great shape.
Only downside and it's with virtually EVERY golf north course - The Bunkers are disgraceful, never any sand in golf north bunkers only gravel..
Really let's all these courses down which is really sad to see considering how expensive Golf is...
