Great Value!
You get you use all your clubs. Price on golf now is also a bonus. Staff are friendly course is in good shape.
Fun experience at non-elitist course
This is a beautiful course with very courteous and mature staff. This course is not a 5-star 'bougie' wedding destination clubhouse with jaw dropping views for the elite private crowd. This is a perfect everyman’s course with a basic clean clubhouse (with limited food options) but really reasonable drink and green fees.
If you golf for the love of golf, and not for trying to impress big pretentious corporate elitists, then this course should certainly be on your must-try list.
It would be a prefect location for a company pr fund-raising tournament.
The tees, greens and fairways are impeccably maintained but is made challenging by the strategic lack of ultra forgiving roughs. The height if the rough is at just the right hight to make balls hard to see, yet still be very playable with an iron. The greens have a lot of character from hole to hole, and the lack of information available for each hole beyond the tee signs is reminiscent of some of the classic courses found in rural Ontario.
Certainly this is a “would recommend” for the humble players who want a challenge.
Fair value to the money
Course has no driving range with a warm-up practice green area. A few interesting holes with precise shot otherwise big penalty, though I thought 17th’s layout is a bit weird! Overall good Valie for the money that I paid, not to mention weekend traffic condition got me rushed in.
Friday play
Coarse was great- bar host was very nice enjoyed those cold beers after a hot day thanks
