Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club

About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

Really nice course
Great course with lots of water and challenging holes. Very well maintained fairways and greens. Fun to play.
Great course and fun to play.
Great course and well kept greens and fairways. Lots of fun to play and staff are great.
Nice course - poor value
Booked this through golf now. No option to pay Junior rate but wanted to just get the booking in. Club would not adjust the rate at check-in which sucked. No balls at the range. No waters in the cart. The cart was $40 and I paid $10 for two gatorades. I could have walked and brought my own drinks but the failure to adjust the rate really soured me. I think if it felt they valued my business I would return. Because they didn't, I won't.
Good course
I enjoyed playing the course. Tee boxes were in rough shape but fairways and greens were very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall I’d definitely play here again and would recommend it
A good course to enjoy
As usual, this course is well maintained and greens, fairways, bunkers are in good condition. Some portion of the car path needed improvement but overall acceptable. Pace pretty good as it was weekdays, may be different during weekend. Check in was quick with friendly n polite staff. It's a hot day but the beverage cart was always around. Roughs on the edge of fairways were dense n deep so very difficult to locate balls. So bring more to spare.
Love the course but whoever set it up must have been in a bad mood
I really like this course and try to play it at least once a year, however the day we played the setup was very difficult. Every hole location was either tucked behind a bunker or on a ridge (or both). Combined with the course being dry it made it very difficult for mid handicappers (I’m a 13).
Loved it two weeks ago….so I came back with 3 friends
Excellent golf course…..got revenge this time on a few holes that bit me last time😉
Silver Lakes is gem.
Tight fairways, make sure your tee shots are on the mark. Great conditions, friendly staff, pace of play could have been better. 5 plus hours for 18, just not right, Marshalls would have helped.
Overall, loved the course.
