Fox Golf Club

I’ve been golfing here for over 20 years. I really enjoy the course layout and the greens are well maintained. The cost when using golf now is reasonable and even prior to that I was happy to pay the green fees.

However this year I have a few gripes. The ball washers rarely have a cleaning cloth let alone fluid in them, the carts are in disarray (no windshield, torn fabric, breaking down) and the sand traps are just like clay beds until this week. Hole 10 just had its grass cut before the stream to the best of my knowledge this week.

All in all I’d give a solid 4/5 to 4.5/5 if these issues were addressed but as it stands I can only muster a 3/5.

Been coming there for years, enjoy the course and most times it’s a very enjoyable experience. I usually walk the course however when I/we have taken a cart they are usually in questionable condition. Have had them break down on the course, have had missing windshield, no windshield to bring up when it’s raining, torn fabric etc. The fleet looks a little beat-up. The rates have gone up every year, perhaps put some money into the carts.

A good course, greens were in good shape, some challenging holes. Value four dollar. I will definitely play here again.

The cource was well groomed. Greens were fast. Hole placement vary which made it a challenge. Friendly staff.

Course is in nice shape. Greens pretty quick. Leary’s enjoy playing here.

Awesome course conditions. Best golf day of the year s far. Great service on beer cart nice and burger after on patio. Lets keep this place a secret as i love golf on Saturday in less that 4 HOURS. Keep up the good work Golf North and Fox.

We played on Saturday, June 8th what seemed like the 2nd day of summer. Course was in good shape. Pace of play was perfect. No complaints and will be back again soon.

Spring has been tough on everyone but the Fox is back in shape again. Greens were fast and played great. Had a great burger after the game.

Using golf now is a waste of time and money booking tee times on this course. The back nine got overloaded with players in the afternoon and I had to quit playing after 11 holes. Couldn't get a rain check for nine holes as I used Golfnow . Very disappointed.

The course was unplayable due to oversaturation and should not have been open until it dried up. Water was sitting on greens and fairways making it very difficult to have any chance to have an average round of golf. Staff said that the ground is clay and doesn't drain well. Today this course should not have been open due to extreme wet conditions. They should wait for a few days of dry weather before opening the course to the public.

Just played a round in late October and the Fox was in great shape still. Well maintained and good layout. Very happy and it only cost me $20 with a cart.

Played yesterday 12C and sunny. Course was in great condition for this time of year. Greens were super fast and ran true. Everything looked great. Not many golfers and I joined up with a member who was very pleasant to play with. Great Guy in pro shop very helpful and very helpfully with membership info. Considering a membership at $690 with a $100 gift card included. Worth a play great value membership.

Not expecting such a well manicured track , my friend and I where in a new area for us to play but where very pleasantly surprised--well groomed--nice lay out with front being a links course and the back being target golf in a wood lot setting .

staff very helpful and carts very clean--will put this one on next years calendar.

The course is in excellent condion and the greens are as good as any I have played this year.

The staff are very accommodating and are attentive to our requests.

Pace of play is excellent , never rushed.

We were unable to play our booked round because of a booking screw up. The round was booked Saturday including cart but the course didn’t call to notify us until 2 hours before tee time on Monday. When they called they said that GolfNow was notified not to sell any bookings with a cart as their carts weren’t running. Needless to say had to find another place to golf. Then

I had to call and request a cancellation refund from them. They offered a full refund and a box of golf balls. Later I get an email that says can’t ship balls to Canada. They gave a credit for future golf with stipulation Mon-Thurs after 12. I really like GolfNow but was disappointed with this booking and with the course for not calling earlier.

Course was wet after the rain but was in great condition. Friendly staff at check in and even do it was walking only I did like the fact they called me in person to let me know. Easy walk and enjoyed the great fall day. Greens ran fast and fairways were great. Will be back again this week and I think I will choose to walk again as I enjoyed it and played better.

Although it was cold and a bit windy, so the ball didn't fly, it was a fun course to play. The fairways were a bit muddy and the grass sparse in many places, but the greens were immaculate. I'm sure it would be a better play in warmer weather. All in all, I'm glad I went.

The overall course is in great shape but the need some major repairs one of ours had a flat tire and the other one must of had a broken spring because it almost tipped over on us a number of times. The beer and food prices are way to high Golf North should under stand this is not Toronto
