Hilly but very enjoyable
Great staff, considering the drought, course is in good shape.
Looking forward to playing again!
Course conditions improved
I have been playing HH for years and have not seen it it in better shape for a long time
Nice Goat Path!
Love the Highlands course. Fun track to whip around on a warm sunny day. Greens are in much better shape than years past but still in need of consistent rolls. #8 is always a great hole. Fun time all around!
A fun course
My wife and I had a great time playing this course. The yardage is on the shorter side but the topography evens things out. The view from the 8th tee is worth the price of admission. Enjoy. Club House staff was very friendly
Not worth it
Very expensive for a mediocre course.
Grass was dead in lots of spots.
Scenic course
I have golfed this course twice now and for a 9 hole course, they dont get much more scenic. The fairways are a little rough but it changed ownership last year and they are doing their best to improve all parts of course,it will just take time.Hole #8is spectacular and staff friendliness is top notch.I will definitely be back
Needs a lot of work!
When booked there was no indication the course was only 9 holes. I could have researched it but it just seemed like it was an 18 hole course. When I arrived to play there was starting marshal and as such a foursome went out before a twosome and me as a single.
The course was in terrible shape and needs a lot if work.
The golf now score card app is not consistent with the course and had the wrong scores for the hole.
Then when I finished my first nine, as there was no marshal, I was caught behind several groups that were starting their first 9.
Overall needs work all around! Thankfully I only paid 18 bucks!!!
Beautiful Haliburton Highlands!
While the fairways aren't in perfect condition, the course is challenging and many of the 9 holes are just beautiful, especially the 8th hole! We'll definitely be back!
Not A Fan
Played this course today with a group of eight as we have every year for the past 7 - 8 years. The course has dramatically declined this year. Hardly any grass to be found on the tee boxes or fairways. Most greens are also in poor shape. We do not anticipate returning next year without first checking the condition of the course.
Great time at Haliburton Highlands.
Fairways are not in good shape but the greens are. We always enjoy number 2 and number 8 - great elevated shots.
This course has immaculate greens
This course is very scenic and is in good shape, especially the greens.
Good Value
The value for 9 hole play was very good. The weather was great and the pace of play was excellent, Course condition was okay, riding a cart was very bumpy everywhere even on fairways. Some very steep hills to traverse downhill. One very scenic view from 8th hole, worth paying to see.
A great course for resort guests and cottagers
Greens are large and with excellent grass. Having a course of this quality which is convenient to vacation properties is a real asset to the area.
Nice & Hilly!
Certainly. Very hIlly course and rough pretty much insures ball gone. Some beautiful scenery on some holes. Tees were mostly rough shape, but greens on good condition. Not clear when booked that it wasn't an RCGA rated course, if I knew would not have played there.
