Oak Gables Golf Club - Pine Course
About
Oak Gables Golf Club is home to three different nine-hole courses called Pine, Oak, and Maple. Named after the trees that are scattered throughout the landscape, each nine offers a different challenging layout. The Maple Course is often referred to as “the pride of Oak Gables,” but the Pine Course, which is the longest of the three, can be just as tough. The rolling terrain provides a multitude of uneven lies and you can also expect a few tricky blind shots. The most difficult par 3 is the 193-yard sixth, which plays uphill into the prevailing wind, but the toughest hole on the golf course is the par-4 eighth. An uneven lie in the fairway makes the approach shot even more daunting. In addition to the golf course, Oak Gables also has a full-length, all grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Waste of time
Only play this course if you're desperate and get a good deal. Or unless you're 10 years old which seems to be the entire staff. Watch out for fairway maintenance crews as well, they don't care if you're teeing off they drive right in front of you and cut the grass for 5 minutes anyway. I'll never play it again.
Friendly course
This is a friendly course both because of the staff and the course itself. Lots of Par 3's but a pleasant afternoon.
Flexible staff ! Good fun for playing
We played 5 as a friend couldn't come last minute - nice greens and clean course! Good for us amateurs but enough challenge for people who love the game!
Maple/Oaks
This is a short course that helps practice your short game and will get you to use your full range of irons.
The sand traps have been filled in so there is no practice in that regard.
When I played the greens had been recently sanded and aerated which of course affects your putting.
Pine and Maple
Course is in good shape with the greens being very good.
Friendly staff. Slower golfers eventually let us play through.
Great Fathers Day
Course was average and had a wonderful day with my son as my fathers day gift.
Great day!
Didn't expect this place to blow our minds but it did! Course was in great shape, staff went above and beyond and the food was fantastic. Hot deal 20$ with a cart you can't go wrong. Thanks for a memorable time will be back in the future for sure.
Very rolling hills
This course is has a lot of rolling hills you are either playing up hill or down hill.
Disappointing
We were disappointed at how disorganized everything was.
Given the dry weather lately, it is understandable that the grass wasn't 100%, but at least clean up the cut grass rather than leaving it on the fairways.
***the gentleman who was directing golfers to their holes was very friendly, and probably the best part of our day.***
nice courses
The staff was friendly, with a no rush attitude. Courses were clean and well kept.
lots of par 3's
Great time out. Hot deals all the way ;)
Course was great this day.
Good Price
Was going to the range but saw this for $20 course was not busy good practice for short game will return if price is ok
Glad it's closing!
This is a terrible course. Maybe good for beginners/seniors, as it has 3 9 holes, and most of which are par 3's, but as for a course in general it's awful. The guy who ran it was completely rude and unprofessional. He acted as if you weren't welcomed there and hates everyone that books on golf now. If you hate it so much don't sign up for it then! So glad this place is closing and I hope it stays closed. Keep it farmland like it has always been!
To bad it's closing
Unfortunately the course is closing on Friday, Oct 31. The clubhouse food facilities are shut down and they are in the process of emptying the building. A for sale sign is posted at the highway entrance to the property.. What a shame for the golf experience was excellent. Hopefully the property will reopen next year as a golf course..
Oak Gables
Great little track, don't expect to be too challenged. Nice easy day out on the gold course, great for average to beginner golfers.
Our first time here
We played Oak and Maple and enjoyed the experience very much. We used the Golfnow deal and found great value for money.
fairways
Fairways were wide open and very forgiving but if I had known it was a par 65 I might have chosen a different course.
Good For Beginners
Executive length course. Fairly straight forward layout. In decent shape. Some great deals on Golf Now!
Short course
Very short course. Played the Oak and Pine. Pine was way better because it had more par 4s. Oak was very short with over 5 par 3s. Great to improve your short game.
Great value for $21.99 including cart
Course is average, but great value through Golf Now!
Second time on this course, Golf Now great deal
